harder than the combined Israeli and US strikes at the start of the war where the media was talking about them carrying out 10 million sorties per day?

the main difference will be the type of targets hit, rather than greater number of sorties. and then the region's infrastructure burns. it is better for this to escalate quicker, so oil prices quickly return to $100+.

What you have missed is that... a crescendo has lapsed...
It always starts with much bombast and then it becomes normal.
One man's death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic.

For the first time... none know why or who they're fighting for... who's leverage their sacrifice will deliver... while Iranians are clear eyed. A direct consequence of thief-in-chief!
Where many obey orders for the next paycheck, that makes them overlook their morality. They pass the blame and buck to the one dishing the order... up the chain.

And then spin doctors do their thing... for public consumption.

Very quiet tonight….

Meanwhile Iran once again it’s sitting waiting for the U.S. to strike first for the day instead of taking the initiative and attacking across the Middle East and keeping the pressure on Trump.

Iran exercises far too much restraint. This is why Israel wins conflicts against their opponents — unmatched brutality and not letting up. Iran needs to stop fooling around and escalate this.
UAE should have been on the list with Kuwait. I can't comprehend Iran's behaviour sometimes. UAE is even a bigger threat than Kuwait as UAE has been very vocal and acerbic against the Iranians.

Maybe there is some purpose behind Iranian unpredictability?

UAE has bought off Iran….for now. And likely restricted oil output to some extent to keep the pressure on Trump.

During the war when Qatar suddenly stopped being a target eventually news emerged that Qatar offered to shut off his oil/gas output if Iran stopped striking as well as provided Iran money.

Agreed with most of your points except it will be unpopular as the number of deaths starts creeping up even more.

Once the body bags starts hitting home, and their families start questioning especially with this Gen Z, it's going to eventually be a problem for them.
Agreed but as of now it's a rare occurrence to lose US service members. They're far away from Iran and well dispersed for the current objectives. Iran could try targeting US Navy with lethal force but it hasn't tried that seeing it will invite severe retailation and not needed for Iran's strategic aims which are being achieved by attacking ships going through the Strait of Hormuz.

Almost feels like he is mocking his own dead soldiers

"Why should I go to that cemetery? It's filled with losers". He also reportedly referred to the over 1,800 Marines who died at Belleau Wood as "suckers" for being killed in battle.

He later denied saying it ... but he had said something on the record similar about John McCain... so you know the credibility of a habitual liar.

This strikes me more as Iraqi groups potentially striking. Iran doesn’t usually attack Consulates directly and leaves it to PMUs.
There’s something brewing if what they have when saying softening the defenses of these guys make sense Iran knows Israel going to be joking in very soon they want to takeout as much of Israel’s protection as possible
