Iran - Israel/US War: Israel-US declare war on Iran, Iran responds

irans current calculation of that ratio does seem to be wrong it seems as Israel does not feel constrained, the escalation ladder is being increased by Israel. The intent of the failed strike shows that.
Incorrect. Zionia is behaving EXACTLY like a cornered animal with nothing left to lose.

Add to this list nearly all of key positions in Trump's 2016 administration and most of the current Biden administration. Even if the US enters complete chaos and a civil war, they won't give up on defending Israel. They are literally Israeli citizens living in the US.

Little correction: They are literally Israeli citizens ruling the US.

There’s going to be a high level of volatility in the US after the elections. Whichever side loses will accuse the other side of rigging. Tempers may get heated in a country where there are 400 million guns.

It may be better for Iran to wait and see what happens in the US before the next round with the Zionist entity.
Sir, Does it matter who comes in white house for Iran. its a foregone conclusion that they are lap dogs of entity.

be whoever, it be!

Well actually it matters to some extent. They both will follow Israel but the Difference is of intensity.

The difference is of public theatrics. Trump will use a hard tone on Iran and approach sanctions on Iran from a position of dominance, America first, and a threatening language that I told Iran you have to do this or else blah blah blah while the democrats will do exactly the same but use a soft, peace loving tone to pretend that they want to negotiate with Iran while Iran is a rogue terrorist state that refuses to do so because of radical ideological reasons.

I think as there were 5 deaths this time and the fact that the entity's attack was mainly a failure(lack of capability), Iran will at least destroy 1-2 military facilities and missile production facilities in Israel.

That would be proportionate and give Iran "escalation dominance" as the entity would not want then to go to targeting civilian infrastructure like energy facilities. It simply has no capacity to hit military related targets in Iran in a meaningful way as the last Zionist attack on Iran showed.
what is a proportionate response?

ENTITY claims hitting 20 Targets (SAM Sites (THAAD/ARROW and whatnot), Missile production facilities and Military industries) and three waves. correct!

If Iran just do exactly that - Entity is all but gone militarily.

I agree with your assessment overall, but the situation with Hezbollah is different.

Israel is engaged in ground battles with Hezbollah which is causing them to lose soldiers. If Iran wants to escalate the situation like that and directly target Israeli soldiers, it's going to be an entirely different situation. Also, don't forget that Israel is planting explosives to destroy Lebanese villages. So, Lebanon is paying a huge price as well, and much more than Iran.

Iran has so far not paid much for totally ruining the image of invincibility of Israel (which is strategically of great importance to Israel in the region) and Israel will never recover from what Iran has imposed on them.
This is how i see it
Iran strikes Entity
Entity response immediately with its strikes (now they know Iranian IADS and absorb lot eloctric waves - i am sure by this time thay have ECM/ESM is placed) inflicts heavy damages on Iran

Iran opens Golan Front (riposte)

We can't open the Golan front without Syria's approval and Assad is unlikely to agree with that. But yeah, Israel and the US do have a master plan and it seems that they had some limited success in their first strike. I think their next waves of attack will likely involve large scale cruise missile attacks.

That's why it's important that the commanders in Iran this time teach Israel a real lesson. Warning shots won't cut it. I think "True Promise" is not a fitting name anymore.

They tried a large attack last time but it was a shambolic failure by in large

Too many brainwashed fools here who believe they are fighting superhuman space Jews with star wars type weapons.....

The aura of invincibility will take time to diminish. The west has invested heavily on making themselves seem invincible so they can perpetuate organised violence with little repercussion.

Iran has demonstrated best defence I'd offense.

I disagree with that. Damage to the Ghadir OTH radar looks severe enough to make it non-operational. I think Khamenei said it the best that their attack should not be exaggerated, nor underestimated.

In a way basically saying "Proportionate" response is required.

I take your point but what they tried to achieve was way more destructive.

As regards that radar, did Iran have something like Pantsir at the site as it looks like a system such as this would have been capable of shooting down the cruise missiles used to destroy that building and damage the other.
There coud be a very good lesson for Iran here and that may already be implemented around similar sites by now.

Maybe my choice of words was not the best but the evidence is that they achieved around 5-10% of what they intended and that is a promising sign of Iranian IADS capability.

My point is that Iranian IADS is exposed in wartime mode. I hope you understand electromagnetic spectrum is exposed. now Entity has a correlated data. I am sure different sets of ECM/ESM already in placed.

so there next strike would far far more destructive. same goes to Iran as well. they have learned the war modes as well - its very very fluid. its about who learns fast and implement it.

What worries me is that their plan is pretty much textbook and predictable.

Iran's problem is that we have neglected IRIAF for too long and we can now see why it was a bad idea.
We do not have airborne radars to cover radar blind spots which is lethal for a country the size of Iran with mountainous terrain. We have too many blind spots that can be exploited when they launch cruise missiles. That's why Iran has invested in OTH radars, to cover those blind spots without investing in the IRIAF.
We had one Ilyushin-76 that we used as AWACS and it crashed years ago. IRIAF does not seem capable of intercepting cruise missiles or at least it has not shown such capability so far. So, we are limited to radars on the ground. Now they have severely damaged one of our 3D OTH radars. I'm sure you can see why they have done this.
