Not very easily. It takes 15-20 missiles launched for 2-3 getting through. That is 85% interception rate.

After all those interceptions, the missiles that get through are not delivering much damage.

I think part of this is they thought they needed to play the long game with Israel, and decided to ration missiles, sending small salvos, with both sides racing to see who would run out first.

The intercept rate was not 85%.....that's what Israel wants us to think. I saw a lot of videos, intercept rates were not near that level...I don't want to make a guess, but if you force me, I'd say 65% at max. Remember the second time around the Western allies weren't as responsive as the first time.

I cannot think of a single parallel in world history wherein a nation has sacrificed as much as Iran has for another people, the Palestinians. There is no rational, logical reason for Iranians to have given so much of their energy and resources to some else's cause, for the past 45 years, as Iran has done for the Palestinian cause. There is no economic reason, no reason of kinship, no reason of military strategy for this focus and sacrifice of other possible opportunities for the Iranian people's well-being. Can't you see this?

Why do guys think we are here because of the Palestinians? We didn't get to this level because of Palestine....we got a lot of other issues. Iran has had bad policies for decades...it just took a while for the US to tighten the noose around our neck. Let's start by the hostage taking, then the Persian Gulf harassments, then Lebanon, after that Hamas, and the PLO...the the Iraq war. We've been warning about these outcomes for a decade,.only to get shouted down by the islamists in our country....there is no reformists, the whole thing is a farce. It's all the Friday prayer crowd's doing. You got dumb people in charge, over and out.

Saddam, Gaddafi, Assad were not much of a threat to Israel or Usa but were toppled. Usa Israel do not accept any Independent nations. If tomorrow Iran agrees to open up to the west then they will slowly be accepted but what the Usa Israel will do is slowly make plans to topple the revolutionary government. They will never allow an independent ideological government/nation to exist. Bashar al Assad was a secular arab nationalist but they still did not accept him only because he refused to be a puppet, Gaddafi thought of himself to be a revolutionary Islamic leader and they finished him too.

As long as the Islamic regime exists Iran will continue to face threats. Iran biggest mistake was to make so many threats on international platforms and for domestic audience that they trapped themselves, today the western world is after them but Iran doesn't have enough means to defend themselves.

I understand some Iranian members believe Iran has done well but they got bombed by Israel for 12 days, Iran could not stop this, next time Israel will make sure all ballistic missiles launchers are destroyed, and then Iran will have no means to fire back. Iran must be able to launch ballistic and cruise missiles from submarines, destroyers, frigates, they also need fighter jets to make sure Israel doesn't have any access to Iranian airspace. People forget Israel also has ballistic and cruise missile capability and they are armed with battlefield nukes, Israel also possess suitcase nukes and from a military point of view this is a major threat to Iran existence.

Not really. Trump is the one who covered up for Israeli preparations for the war through negotiations.

Trump's only excuse for not wanting a war with Iran was the risk of losing American soldiers. Didn't you see how proudly and happily he talked about bombing Iran right after hitting Natanz, Isfahan and Fordow?

Trump gave Iran 60 days to secure agreement but no deal was reached and on the 61st day Israel attacked Iran. Usa Israel must have degraded Iranian capabilities or else they would be making alot of noise right now.

Israel made it clear if Iran does significant damage to Israel then Israel will retaliate by destroying all Iranian ports, economy infrastructure, bases etc and Israel claimed they only targeting nuclear and missile facilities. Possibly some background agreement was done to avoid military bases, nuclear reactors etc. I guess it wasn't a full blown out war.

And what? Do you think Iran would sit back and let them hit us without hitting back?
