in my opinion Mohammad Sadr is a reckless idiot who speaks nonsense about issues he does not know about

is it the job of his expediency council to monitor air force purchases? or air defences? I doubt it. why would Russia even know Iran's air defence 'secrets' to begin with? Israel has satellites that can track these key assets 24/7, they don't need Russian secret insights.

This is unacceptable level of casualties. 12 lives lost to launch a single missile?

This is why I was asking for somr sort of Tunguska or Pantsir type system to protect the TELs.

Perhaps Zubin or Azarakhsh. Even Hertz 9. These systems are small, mobile, and cheaper to produce. You can even buy the Chinese derivatives off the shelf right away. They also have integrated search and track radars.

Heck even Mesbah 2 would be valuable against low flying drones.
