Iran launches Operation True Promise - massive missile/drone strikes across Israel, Israel allegedly responds with quadcopters

America asked Iran if they would allow Israel to do a symbolic face saving response (so as not to trigger a war), Iran refused.

Perhaps Israel will fire a single Shavit Missile into the Caspian, north of Tehran, and call it a day :p

Israelis are finding themselves in similar situation like India did in post swift retort. lol

Never strike first, because losing on the escalation ladder is such a b!tch. :ROFLMAO:

all because of Laser Ring Gyros in INS.

There was a documentry on which it was explained how without GPS guidance IRan was able to achieve 10m-50m CEP over 1000km

we must discuss the tech - i sure they were not using GPS/GLOSSNAS/BEIDUE

Ballistic missiles needs good guidance half of the path. is it?

Once missile start to fall, little left to do to the guidance system. And when that happens the missile is still far from Israel (no jamming possible).

FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN ASSAULT/STRIKE LOGISTICS AND EVASION, READ THIS. THE MOST DETAILED ANALYSIS YET (@Immortals this is up your ally. @Persian Gulf @Hack-Hook I believe 'pin' worthy.):

How Iranian strike waves were meticulously choreographed.
(Clipped conclusion: "Hence there is a credible chance that a ballistic missile, one generation behind Iran's current ones, can already penetrate Israel's missile defenses at will.")
"
Iran's retaliation against the Israeli attack on its consulate in Syria was not totally unexpected. However, the meticulous planning and massive scale of the attack marked a watershed moment and the beginning of the end of the occupying regime.

A powerful message was delivered through a barrage of missiles and drones fired at midnight from different Iranian cities, which sent shockwaves in the power corridors of Tel Aviv.

Iranian armed forces first launched Shahed-131/-136 type, low-cost, one-way-attack drones, widely filmed as they flew over Iraq. These drones needed about 6 hours to reach their targets.

About four hours after the Shahed-131/-136 drones were fired, Iran's Paveh land-attack cruise missiles were also launched for simultaneous landing in the occupied land. Both types of weapons represent the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) aerospace forces’ lowest-cost, long-range strike assets.

Their task in this operation was to force the enemy to spend its resources on them, committing its airpower and spending significantly more expensive air-to-air missiles to intercept them.

Here the higher speed of cruise missiles and their unknown quantity forced Israeli, British, Jordanian, and potentially French fighter jets to use air-to-air missiles instead of guns to save time.

The cost ratio between the assets Iran committed to the operation and the Israeli regime required to counter it was massive. Israel's fear of its GPS jamming not working against drones and cruise missiles led to the costly decision of intercepting them kinetically.

Five to ten minutes before the surviving drones and cruise missiles were to reach their intended targets in the occupied territories, Iran launched the main weapons of the ‘True Promise’ operation.

The ballistic missiles were not launched simultaneously on purpose to reduce the shock effect on Israel's missile defenses. Surviving drones and cruise missiles put additional stress on the radars and sensors, creating completely different targets at lower altitudes.

From 3:50 onwards. Guy is former National intelligence chief. Unbiased assessment of what actually happened.

"If Iranians wanted to, they could have overwhelmed Israeli air defences"

Talk of 99% interception is just non sense. Persians pinged their targets which were two airbases and the Intel base in mount Hebron.

The tears of the child-killing Zionists are so sweat. They must've been really hit hard if they can't get their heads around how Iran developed those missiles and drones. They're used to seeing everything they do paid for or financed by their Western colonies. So they can't imagine other countries, especially Iran, can do everything for themselves.

Post Iranian strike on Israel, most commentators seem to be emotionally embroiled in cosmetics (such as how many drones/missiles have made it through the Israeli/American anti-missile defenses) while having lost their touch with the actual context of this attack and the overall picture of the whole scenario. Just to recall, Israelis have long been assassinating prominent Iranians (such as nuclear scientists, engineers, and generals) with increased pace just recently. They have killed several Irani military commanders in Syria just a few weeks ago and resulting embracement actually compelled Iran to publicly announce for an attack on Israel to retaliate. There was a great hoopla created by Irani supporters as if Israel would be brought down to its knees by Iranians. What actually transpired in the actual Irani attack was nothing of really worth mentioning. Irans failure in killing any Israeli general (or even a foot soldier) or causing any serious damage to any military installation in this attack (involving more than 330 drones, cruise missiles, and ballistic missiles) in fact is even more embracing than providing any pride or even consolation to them.

Israelis reporting many downed Irani missiles without even a warhead is indeed a mysterious matter. The reports that Irani government took pain to inform the US officials and Europeans about the nature of this attack in advance might actually serve as dots to construct the real picture. Where are those hundreds of thousands of rockets/missiles that Hizbullah was boasted to have and ready to use them against the ‘illegitimate’ state of Israel. In contrast, the brave people of occupied Palestine have bled the Zionist terrorists much more than what Iran and its proxies can even dream of achieving.

It is useless to claim how many Irani missiles were able to hit Israeli territory. All these missiles couldn’t do more than causing some bruises to a minor Israeli girl. Actual damage to the Zionist terrorists was minimal. A missile hitting a C-130 plane could not completely destroy even that plane. What a joke! So, was the Irani attack a topi drama? We don’t know for sure yet. Hysterical initial Israeli rection to Irani attack set aside, I am pretty sure Israel will not do anything beyond symbolic response to Iran (another topi drama?) I might be wrong but at least I see things in this perspective (having more reasons not worth mentioning here).

Maybe I'm wrong but I think all the successful hits of Iran over Israel were ballistic missiles.

No drones, no cruise missiles hit Israel.

Or at least, that seems in the public videos posted.

Yeah I think it too, but Iran has already said that they will respond any kind of Israeli response.

So you can expect a escalation.

Two things are for sure:
1. Israel response
2. Iran response to Israel response.

And then, I guess, thing will become really ugly.

It just mainstream press. It's not official state declarations.

It's not wonder for anyone reading war news lately years.

A lot of Iranian drones were successful used in Ukraine war. So it's not a surprise the well state of Iran weapons industry.

Brother,

what is Pyrrhic victory?
what is Moral victory?

We have been killing their nuclear scientists, bombing their missile producing factories etc as a tit for tat.

Iran is at a covert war with west and the US lapdog called Israel. Iranian military personnel are stationed at near Israeli borders plus Israel is getting hit by Iranian allies around it.

We have hit them by a thousand cuts, however, no one expects chocolates in return. But the damage that is inflicted on Israel by Iranian operations and Iranian allies is outstanding. Israel is weakened in a way that fails to disarm few and poorly armed but brave warriors of Hamas. This is the same Israel that enjoys the latest western technology.

In the recent attack, American fighter jets in Iraq and Syria, Jordanian defense units, American radars in Turkey, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, French fighter jets, British fighter jets and their destroyers tried to track and down Iranian missiles and drones. But they failed at it.

That's why this operation was outstanding compared to the past OPs against Israelis. Negev and specifically Nevatim airbase hosts most important divisions of Israeli army such as their F35 jets, Super Hercules planes, Mosaad spies, pilot training assets and also advanced American radar systems. No country in this part of the world could even think of targeting that base. Including your little UAE

i think there was a very good detailed article regarding the guidance and accuracy of Iranian BMs on old PDF and Laser ring gyros made in iran which was real breakthrough tech.

I think the problem is that some people here do not realise what Iranian intent was.

They assume that Iran set out to destroy major military installations and kill lots of Zionist terrorists.

This was not the intent as Iran does not want to potentially get into a regional war now as it needs 5-10 more years before it literally becomes the single most powerful military power in the ME, even if the US joins the Zionist entity with expeditionary forces.

Iran's intention was simple. It was to put both the Zionist usurpers and the US on notice that it can hit and destroy any target in occupied Palestine and there is nothing that the US/entity combined can do about it. The pinpoint strikes at those two airbases in the Negev and the probable destruction of that intelligence station in Golan Heights testify to that.

Last weekend, Iran showed the world that US missile defence is absolutely useless against Iranian ballistic missile technology. When the HGV Fattah-2 comes into service, we can say the probable 50% interception rate will go down to zero.

US saw and respected Iranian capability and that is why they genuinely want the entity to humbly take the hit and start respecting Iran for the great and only independent power in the ME it is.
