The 3rd Khordad factory was shown in a video several years ago where multiple systems were being built with their radars blurred so Intel organizations couldn’t count the number of modules.

No other major air defense system of Iran has been shown at that scale before.So I think it’s probably the most built Iranian design.

Hard to tell which Iranian air defense systems become truly mass produced and which are just prototypes.

This is a joke right?

April 12th-17th there is no net suddenly after April 19th there is a Camo net which I say is BS. Then there is more images with no net again and system is “fine and deployed” according to one side. Now they go back and try to justify their error claim by saying it’s not a Camo net it’s a drone net.

Dey can hit a quadcopter since it use proximity fuse and not kinetic. Of course if quadcopter was launched low from across the street than it cannot.

Bad place to put the system. Look at all this rural area it can be targeted from by Mossad operatives.

I think Iran simply doesn’t care. When your commander goes and stands in front of NEBO radar hundreds of meters away and does Baghdad Bob impersonation then you have a lot more things to worry about.

These guys are not ready for confrontation with the West.

You cant utilize anti aircraft guns like these near population centers without the risk of blasting away people/property that are behind the small quadcopters they are meant to engage.

but you can use 9th of dey and 3rd of khordad and Hawk ?

what? There are AA guns in that airbase that fire much higher caliber rounds.

And CRAMs in Iraqi bases and green zone exist to protect US troops from mortars and drones and rockets.

The gun rarely points STRAIGHT, it’s usually elevated and distance it will travel before falling means populated areas are not at risk.

we have majid for these type of threat, they simply didn't care to put some in the base
its 4 years we announced kashef-99, you think how hard it is to tie it to something like Asefeh but it seems no one think its necessary to protect the base , one kahef-99 at the center of the base tied to several gun like Asefeh around it could prevent this incident and it was cheaper than any missile based solution against these quadcopter
