One of Iran’s OTH lost its entire command and control node at the center of the plant. That isn’t being repaired quickly, the entire building and electrical work has to be repaired.

And we have seen Bavar missing their components so it’s inconclusive to say Bavar escaped unscathed and it was only S-300.

Only Bavar-373 at the time of conflict was present at the old S-200 site outside Tehran. No sign of any impact was there. My own personal theory is that because the integrated search-track network of the IADS, they probably moved Bavar-373's tracking assets to such a location that can somehow provide track coverage for both the S-300PMU2 site nearby and Bavar-373 as well, as a temporary solution for few days until the 30N6E2 of S-300PMU2 can get back in action. Bavar-373's Tracking assets have more coverage, illumination power and range than S-300PMU2's counterparts so it kinda makes sense.

possible the fire control radars of the 5 s-300 batteries were taken out, plus one Hawk launcher. Ino Bavar-373 is deployed yet to be damaged. at least a few OTH radars were damaged but likely repaired quite quickly. Israeli/Western media claims that Israel took out all of Iran's air defences is a comical claim.

FCR radars can be replaced by Russia, they have a huge inventory. IRGC also has its own air defences in the s-300 role (upgraded Sevome Khordad, Mehran).

there is no Iranian ABM capability so virtually no capability to intercept Israeli ALBMs but these probably don't exist in huge numbers.

ultimately Iran is huge and there will be gaps in radar coverage that US can identify and help Israel exploit, but Western media claims that Iran is now totally without air defences and a sitting duck are not true

If 5 fcr were taken out in one operation it is quite a big hit. Imagine a sustained operation of weeks. Iran has to find away of protecting long range assets with short range assets to defeat any attack on these systems.

I am not sure Bavar-373 has specific ABM capabilities

new IRGC ABM system was teased, lets see if it enters into operation soon

I hope Iran continues to produce a huge number of artillery systems. Hundreds, even thousands, of aerial cannons should be supplied to the Basij. I hope the army builds a huge number of six-barreled artillery systems, especially their famous Mesba system, which I consider fundamental.

Saturating the sky with thousands of bullets per second can really help intercept multiple missiles, drone bombs, and bombs with high-performance and powerful radar and optical tracking. No missile, drone, or bomb in the world can withstand a wall of bullets without being destroyed in mid-air. 100 bullets directly hitting a missile, bomb, drone, or even aircraft is a guaranteed success.

It helps other air defense systems do their job and protect many sensitive and less sensitive locations.

Iran has never shown the Mesbah in operation or in an exercise. It is barely ever talked about. It seems like a parade toy at this point. It seems their AAA artillery primarily consists of manned ZU23 and 35mm oerlikon. Iran should consider developing something similar to China's LD-2000 for land CIWS. They already have the KAMAND CIWS naval. They also need to work on more digitized, automated, and modern versions of the ZU23 and Oerlikon 35mm (Samavat). Look at how Poland modernized the ZU23 to the:

ZUR-23-2SP Jodek 23mm.​
