This news is very true, as are the modifications to the Azarakhsh. As I mentioned a few weeks ago, it seems they are putting a lot of energy into the Mehran 1, 2, and 3 air defense systems. This isn't just my opinion, but that of others, and it makes perfect sense.

we only saw a prototype of Mehran

and there is no Mehran-3

there is a long history of these products being unveiled and never entering service in big numbers. so we will believe it when we see it

Greetings

Below is an image of HIMARS, which I cannot identify.

The top two could be Sayyad 4 & 4B.

Anyone know what the bottom two are.

Could someone translate the writing highlighted in green.

Thanks'

Piet

the top two are "Taer-2" and "Taer-3". but they look more like Sayyad-2 and Sayyad-3 to me. Sayyad-4 usually has two yellow lines, but I could be wrong.

the bottom two say "Mehran-1" and "Mehran" (the number isn't there but I guess it's Mehran-2).

Is it me variety isn’t always the spice of life when it comes to too many systems trying to compete with one another instead of focusing on several and mass producing those systems to cover theirskies

Iran unveiled the Jaljaleh aerial anti-drone mine. Iran unveiled a new, unusual air defense system designed to counter FPV and drones—the Jaljaleh aerial mine. The Jaljaleh anti-drone system uses acoustic sensors that detect engine sound, then fires a cluster of submunitions into the air, which destroy enemy drones. Upon detonation, the Jaljaleh munition creates a continuous kill zone with a radius of five meters, at an altitude of up to 350 meters, with a maximum fragmentation range of 15 meters. The fragments are ejected at a speed of 2,000 meters per second. The mine can also destroy low-flying helicopters.

Another user posted this and I asked if this was confirmed to be real because if shrapnel from about thousand feet was flying from different directions at that speed would undoubtedly make it dangerous for Iranian troops who launched that counter measure that shrapnel would hit the ground before you could blink
