nopestill no news on the Su-35 saga?
probably because Russia doesn't have/doesn't want to threaten its spare Su-35 production capacity because of its ongoing war...Russia knows how to be "selfish" when its real interests are at stake.nope
He just have knowledge about IRIAF and that is it, mix that with his bipolar disorders and we have that kind of article, interesting at first glance then falling straight into a WSJ-like washed articleBabak Taghvaei articles= 99% lies, BS, lies, BS ...absolutely garbage and fake!

The more revealing part of this news is that it's a part of a much larger aircraft engine indigenization effort, like this one:
This gives me a lot of deja vu because CFM56 shares the same basic core gas generator section (HPC & HPT) as a lot of military engines, such as F101 and F110. In fact, reverse engineering CFM56 is the route that China has taken since the 1990s, which resulted in the WS10 series that is comparable with F110 and now powers most of PLAAF's air fleet (J-10, J-16, J-20).
It is entirely possible that the Iranian tomcats/Flankers can one day fly with Iranian engines, which would massively increase the readiness rate of the IRIAF and reduce reliance on smuggled foreign component, transforming it from a, well, in all honesty, parade air fleet, into a true fighting force
