yes but my point still stands , HQ9 is not bad we just dont have enough of them
Are they linked with long ranged Search Radars ? or rely upon their own Tracking radars for Long ranged Searching as well ? I am assuming the failure against Fateh-313 (Quasi BM) + Shahed 136 package or P-800 Oniks (Supersonic CM) + Harpy loitering drone may have to do with the fact that long ranged Search radars did not give early warning/coordinates for Battery's own tracking radars to lock the target early.
Israelis devised this technique. In 12 day war and last year after IRGCAF's large attack on Israeli bases (True Promise 2), they attacked Iranian IADs's search n track assets using ALBMs/Long ranged SOWs fired from over Iraq. Rest attack came from within Iran using internal terrorists launching ATGMs, Quadcopters etc. They did not care that much for mobile TELARs because they knew Mobile TELARs without long ranged search cues are almost useless with their own short ranged FCRs. Without US's real time Search n Track Coordinates from Persian Gulf and Iraq, even Israeli AD cant stop Houthi launched Iranian Kheybar-Shikan Missiles.
Key is saving your search n track assets at all costs. Currently the entire globe has no answer to ALBMs or fast CMs.
