Genuine question what's special about this gun? Will Iranian troops use it or is it for export. I don't know anything about firearms.

This is a gun from South Korea. It is strange that it has been seen in Iran

Not stranger than Iran reverse engineering the Israeli Uzi.

Guns are guns. If armed forces like a particular gun and Iran reverse engineer it, why not?

Looks like it would be mostly useful for SWAT, tatical police, and soldiers clearing inside buildings. Could be a valuable secondary weapon.

Btw it’s not “new” already spotted as far back as 2020
