and even if something like Shahed-147 could be useful here, how long would it take to fly from Persian Gulf bases to Tabriz? these drones usually travel around 200-300km/hr, so it would take many hours

There are drone bases everywhere.

But let’s say you are right: Tabriz to Nakhichevan, Azeribajian is 150KM as the crow flies. So any drone from Tabriz should have been to the crash area in less in 30 mins to 60 mins at the latest

3-5 drones with SAR equipped flying along the same route he took each following slightly different deviations should have found the site within a couple hours, not 12-18 hours later.

Two of the three helicopters made it and they didn't realize the president of their Nation wasn't with them as they were flying ???? Nothing to see here move along... quite bizarre.

Spot on, where are the secret services who protect the president and keep an eye on his movement? They will know his location and check the weather before giving go ahead. President may be getting attacked by a militia for assassination and security is no where to be seen so I assume they have their protocol in place. Quiet shocking that a president has gone missing but no help is there till 12+ hours.
