Shamkhani had held the highest positions in Iran and is much more respected and competent than most of the candidates

doubt many people are more trusted by Khamenei than Shamkhani

His nephew and other relatives were engaged in bribing judges, governmental figures, assassinating of good people etc.

He went into corruption so deep that the leader had to himself warn him of consequences of his dangerous economic activities.

He should be jailed.

Anger or Ridiculing don't change the fact that's what gonna happen after his participation as exact things happened the last time he tried to participate , every moderate or reformist united to prevent the disaster win. even none of the conservative were willing to go so his votes increase . he had 4 million vote , this time also he will have the same amount .

I say this is shrewd move by Islamic republic to increase the turnout and prevent a disaster such or even worse than parliament election

The decrease from 73% to 49% was because of weak policies of Rouhani and Raisi became president with majiority of the votes

Rouhani only saw 3 European countries during his presidency and forgot his own people, his own youth, the rest of powerful countries in the world and the neighboring countries

After 8 years of disaster economic policies and weak foreign policy by Rouhani administration they are heavily unpopular and heavily disliked by majority of Iranians
