Anti-Iran sentiments are now openly displayed in Iraq across all sectors. Political, media etc.
To the extent that influential Iraqi
Shia Arabs are openly cursing Iran on Iraqi television.
Let us not forget that the current Iraqi PM is a Shia Arab himself. As is most of his cabinet.
That is not to say that some Iraqi Shia Arabs remain loyal (religiously) do not remain loyal to the Iranian regime but it speaks volume nevertheless.
In short, nothing good for Iraq and Iraqis have ever emerged from Iran. Not in terms of economic prosperity or politically. Ordinary Iraqis, in particular well-educated ones, regardless of sect and religion or lack thereof, all understand this simple fact.
Betting on Iran proved to be a fatal mistake for the Iraqi Shia Arab political elite that are still paranoid about their Sunni Arab neighborhood and still look at the region from a local Iraqi sectarian perspective with their own local Iraqi experience (Saddam regime, civil wars post 2003, ISIS) forgetting that all of those events that they lived under, are local Iraqi phenomenons.
Next door in KSA millions of Shias always lived peacefully, same with Kuwait next door.
Until they do not realize this, they will never grow up and realize that non-Shia Arabs are not out there to get them.
Nobody would care if they were Shia Arabs, Christian Arabs etc. as long as they don't show hostility towards fellow Arab nations and Arabs or act against Arab interests on behalf of a hostile anti-Arab and non-Arab regime in Iran. It is that simple. Likewise nobody is out there to somehow remove all Zaydis from Yemen - the sole problem is the Houthi terrorist cult, not ordinary Zaydis who live within Southern KSA to this day completely peacefully.
However it becomes a problem when Iraqi Shia Arab terrorist cults aligned with the Iranian regime are attacking KSA territory with drones or missiles (no matter how ineffective they are and how rare it occurs).
Which again forces KSA to directly attack Iraq to punish those same terrorist cults based in Iraq.
Even though KSA and Iraq have no reason to be in any conflict nor is there any real genuine hostility between the people, rather the opposite. Regardless of sect as well.
"
The Iraqi "Hussein Al-Shalakh" with intense emotion
Iraq's noble women are collecting fafon from the waste!
And Iran is stealing Iraq's money, the money of the Iraqi people,
And our Iraqi depth is Arab and will remain Arab, not Iranian,
Iraq's money is stolen by Iran in a continuous periodic manner."
Regardless of the above, we hope that Iraq develops regardless of who rules it.
