Not necessary, at least in tactical sense, for tiny Israel state powerful missile arsenal can be devastating also....It is up to the Iranians to decide, but primarily for Iran is conventional and useful military superiority in west asia...pepe in this case, knowing his links in Russian intelligence services, he is announcing Russian participation in some way after this escalating events...some kind of pressure, special war, publicity etc...of course, just my 2 cents...
