I didn't get the logic of your claim - Russian are working from the engines over 70 years.

You just hardly put an engine into the aircrafts and yet it will take time to get take mature about performance, maintenance or other stuffs.

By the time of the Su35, China did not have much desire to buy it. In the end, only 24 Su35s were purchased, out of economic support for Russia and the engines of the Su35.
By the time of the Su57, Russia repeatedly pitched to China, but China rejected it...............
SAC learned from the Su27 and subsequent upgraded models, and finally surpassed it with the J16.

China will eventually achieve 100% autonomy with the Hongqi series of anti-aircraft missiles by purchasing Russia's S-x00 series anti-aircraft missiles.

When I denied that china is not specialist for copies the products. No offensive pls

India has different approach while buying su 30 fighters and China was having different... China does not care of duplicating the products but india does.... It's different topic if we go for the discussion..... What can and what can not be by india if she also does not care since india follow the OEM path and agreements.

Best example I can give that brahmos missiles- india has replaced the radar, engine, seeker - but platform is the same. Can india should claim that it's better than original brahmos?

The same case with Chinese su series aircrafts including j11, j16 etc.....

Anyway - appreciate for developing j10, jf17 j20 and j31, because it's show the capabilities of Chinese aviation to develop the new aircrafts by own but about mostly other aircrafts - platforms are russian technologies but as said - Indigenous manufactured with own requirements and some improvements.

China said that even with the WS-10C that was put in from 2021, the J-20 was able to supercruise.

WS-15 was always targeted to rival F-119 and allow J-20 to supercruise at high Mach-1 speed. China met all design goals and that is why it was certified in 2023 and so put in mass production.

Let's talk about how good izdeliye 30 once it is certified as the engine is still not ready.
