A question for anyone with info, a friend told me that Azerbaijan paid 115 million USD per frame, can anyone confirm or deny it?
Thanks, I thought something was off but my friend insists that it's 115 million usd per frameNo way - they paid for a package deal of airframe, training, new support tools and infrastructure, weapons, upfront spare parts and direct support package for the lifetime of the airframe or some set number of years, all blended into one.
that's the price for f35A man115 million usd per frame
In the international fighter jet trade, publicly available order information usually only includes the total number of fighter jets and the total contract value. However, a complete contract typically includes not only the fighter jets themselves, but also weapons, spare parts (including engines and other spare components), pilot training, and in some cases, base construction, combat command systems, communication systems, MRO (maintenance, repair, and overhaul), and technology transfer. No contract publicly discloses all the specific details. Thanks, I thought something was off but my friend insists that it's 115 million usd per frame
i think jf17 could be the next mig 21( not in reliability lmao, but in operators ) if we play it smart .more i think about it, the more i suspect Qatar may be the next customer, lots of circumstantial evidence
We have flown JF-17C in exercises with them a lot
they gave up Eurofighters to Turkiye
Israeli strike maybe made them lose some faith in their western set up
still large number of Pak advisors in QAF
qatar being mentioned for Pak-Qatar defence agreement similar to Saudi one
I could be wrong but I am veering to Qatar here
