I think putting Mao who is centre to the Chinese communism and its ideology and culture is similar to putting him in the same realm as jesus for christians or muhammad for muslims.

For me I do not see it that way because i have family on both sides but for many that is how it works.

This behavior is actually a competition among Western countries for the right to characterize and speak about historical figures in our country, and is the infiltration of culture and values. That's why the Chinese people directly turned against Mbappe, collectively boycotting and imposing sanctions. We are not political fools, the 5000 year history of the empire that dominated the East has already given us enough experience.
