List of countries by incarceration rate

Thanks for the correction - I meant to refer to the 2nd Amendment (Right to keep and bear arms) and not the Fourth Amendment (protection against unreasonable search and seizure).
I haven't got any comment on post#59, how you people respond to my post #59? 🕳️

How we see post#4, the Murder Rate? 🕳️

The picture of post #1, showing related imprisonment for all crimes in USA, worth putting the person in jail, those without bail 🙂

The Crime mainly means for its seriousness, worth putting a person in jail, without bail, as shown in Picture of very First post#1 , the map of USA 🙂
For many, the bail is either too high, or they just take a deal, knowing how crooked the judicial system in America is.

Oklahoma is the worst. There are over 900 different misdemeanors for the prosecutor to choose from. Misdemeanors means jail up to a year. Oklahoma courts hand them out like candy. Nearly every family in Nowata has had a member of their family in jail one time or another.

The real criminals are those who wear black robes, sitting behind a bench.

This also has to do with the corrupt state and federal legislators being in the pockets of the prison industrial complex and Big Pharma. 25% of ODC prisoners are housed in private prisons.
Legalising marijuana would eat away at pharma profits made off opiods and kill the War on Drugs which in turn would impact sales of military equipment.

As I said, the legal system in Oklahoma is the worst....

‘We’re citizens!’: Family traumatized after ICE raids home, but they weren’t suspects

West are the countries where men are Labors and Women prostites, the unskilled job, and lower paid since recession time.....
You people are talking about that justice system of a western country where there is no Culture like Asia.
Who **** how much as per earning, and remaining? The related crimes for this Human's pleasure.......
It's the religion, race, Culture, Language and related issues behind high crimes in USA......

People living in less, paying for kids/elders in Asia,. The Jesus C hasn't blessed this Culture to USA 🕳️

2nd Amendment to the US Constitution

The Second Amendment to the United States Constitution states: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

We find in Asia, the parents build 'character' in their kids since childhood, the Culture which Asia has, which the West miss 🕳️

The Single Mother Culture of Western countries is all behind their current state. The schools of western countries write Mother's name in school s, in place of father name, like in Asia....

There is no future of these single mother kids of Western countries. The industries being run by White Coller Jobs holders immigrants, is the only pride they have 🕳️

good day gentlemen

how we see the post#66 & #67?

as shown below, the developing countries like India-Pakistan are having less prisoners' in Jail, who represent those who committed as serious crime that they couldn't get bail, the crimes worth sending them to jail, as compared to rest of world :coffee:
:pakistan:🇮🇳

a crime mainly means for its seriousness, worth sending the person to jail. ☕
those crimes like parking offence usually cost a ticket....

here, how we measure difference between Asian and Western culture this way? ☕

=> the news from Russia that the imprisonment there is mainly 'political'. .......

Prison population rates for 2018

US prison population rises for second straight year

The combined state and federal prison population rose 2% between 2022 and 2023.

The nation’s prison population grew for the second consecutive year in 2023, reversing more than a decade of steady decline.

A new prison population report from the federal Bureau of Justice Statistics, released before the federal shutdown, shows that 1,254,224 people were incarcerated in state and federal prisons on the last day of 2023 — an increase of 24,081 people from the year before, or about 2%.

It follows a rise in 2022, which marked the first uptick since 2010, when prison populations began a gradual decline after peaking in the mid 2000s.

Even with recent increases, the prison population in 2023 was still about 20% below the 2013 level.

Crime over time[edit]

In the long term, violent crime in the United States has been in decline since colonial times. The homicide rate has been estimated to be over 30 per 100,000 people in 1700, dropping to under 20 by 1800, and to under 10 by 1900.[10]

After World War II, crime rates increased in the United States, peaking from the 1970s to the early-1990s. Violent crime nearly quadrupled between 1960 and its peak in 1991. Property crime more than doubled over the same period.

Good day gentlemen
We find the graph of above post#9, is compared to East Asian countries's industrial revolution time, since 60s. The countries like Japan was known for making too poor products during those times...
Here, comparatively, we find our's Indian/SU's AC, "the Gorskov", was in commission since 60s-70s.....

Once the East Asian countries like US, led by Japan, got rich, and then their society became too criminal, as compared to India, the post#1 🙂

@Guru Dutt

A crime mainly means for its seriousness, worth sending a person to jail.🙂

And the India is an example as compared to other "cultures" of world, as in post#1 👍
