I remember when people said FATA’s merger with KPK would never work.

Although this will be an almost inverse scenario (dividing the existing provinces to more provinces or administrative units); it can work well if there is a truly a will to make it work.

The merger was also due, as tribal laws were different from the rest of Pakistan; e.g. a political agent was an enforcer who was selected, collective punishment, etc.
