Myanmar’ Rakhine State likely going to become Independent very soon

Not really only the Christian groups are western aligned but they don't really pose that much of a threat to China interest. China doesn't want to see the collapse of the junta because all they want is stability so china can continue pouring in investment to achieve its goal.[/url]

The situation doesn't look good though, the rebels will not back off, and junta will not leave power. Only solution is for all the big generals to retire, form a new neutral army and go for new elections.

That's what china wanted them to do but junta being junta they don't want to give up power.

Most of the Chinese projects were done under the government of Aung san suu kyi. So china doesn't really support the junta. All china care about is stability but the junta ruined it all. At least the rebel groups are smart enough to not target Chinese projects and just leave them alone. At the end of the day china is the biggest trading country for Myanmar they are heavily reliant on china for everything.

They massacred Rohingya people recently so they are not much different from military junta, on the other hand it might be good for Bangladesh to have buffer state on between them and Burma.

Rohingya Should Take Advantage And Ally With The Junta And Get Arms And Resources

Is their any chance of Chinese military involvement in order to save the junta? It certainly looks like they're standing on their last leg.

You're wrong. The junta fears China, but China does not support the Burmese junta. China supports Wa State the most, followed by the Three Brothers Alliance.

The Wa signed a covenant with China's prime minister Zhuge Liang in 225 AD, and they have been loyal to the Chinese imperial dynasty for almost 2,000 years and have never betrayed.

The three brothers are Han Chinese troops, so of course China will support them, or support them through Wa.

As for the other northern Burmese armed forces and junta, they all have relatively good relations with China, which has no hostile forces in Burma. They also need to trade with China to survive.

Between the junta and Aung San Suu Kyi, China prefers Aung San Suu Kyi, and the National League for Democracy of Burma has been keeping senior officials in Beijing. In June of this year, a delegation from the NLD visited Beijing.

I am assuming China backs the junta. The rebels are western alliagned, their shadow government is operating in the west but as some members are saying its complicated, too many rebels groups. China/Russia sells military equipment to the junta, Jf17s, su30s etc.

If you are talking about the Christian Kachin Independence Army, they do have good relations with the West.

But they depend on Chinese Jingpo groups for funding, and they also depend on the Chinese city of Ruili for material. China has the ability to decide whether they live or die.

Not all forces that have good relations with the West are enemies of China, for example the Pakistani government has good relations with the West as well.

These Rohingya are on the CIA take. Everyone knows.

Don’t be fooled. Same same here just like the Sy-Raaq.

As soon as you sniff sectarianism or ethnic nationalism or separatism, it’s already a red flag 🚩 bhai.

Regardless of who's in power none of them really pose a threat to China interest but the sooner this conflict gets solved the better. I do believe there will be many more autonomous regions like the wa state, ndaa, sspp and Rcss control territories. All those groups are neutral in the conflict but they can tip the balance if they decide to join forces against the junta. Not only WA state but MNdaa will be china second most useful group in the country since they are made up mostly of Chinese kokang and they pack the most firepower out of any rebel groups that are currently in the conflict but they lack the manpower compared to arakan army.SSPP is basically a Wa state puppet and most of the rebel groups came from the communist party of burma.

Good for BD ultimately.

We need to split the savages up next door and in time BD can gobble up the north of this province, to both repatriate the Rohingya and then also make the land a protectorate of BD.
Don't you think UN will take an objection of such a move by Bangladesh? What will be UN reaction as per you?

All china has to do is give green light to the rebel groups then Shan state will be junta free in a heartbeat. It's not a small area by any means 155,801.3 km2.

If hezbollah is the most powerful none state militia then wa state is easily the third most powerful behind them and houthis. They do have manpads and a bunch of stuff in their arsenal along with manufacturing facilities to produce arms for other rebel groups that are currently fighting the junta. And they can be easily supplied by China just by proximity. The junta never dared to mess with Wa state they are basically china buffer zone.

The junta is no friend of china they are more closer to Russia but it doesnt matter Chinese influence in the country is too hard to break. When Aung San Suu Kyi first gets elected, people thought she would be anti china but she's not the two become closer economically. U can be ideologically different and can still work together but this is china backyard junta will either listen or get wrecked if china patience runs out.
