Crazy operation. Imagine being a farmer or something and seeing fighter jets refuelled by tankers a mere 300 feet overhead. Amazing pilots.

and doing that at turkey Iraq border which is mountainous and not a flat area
they had several month training and they didn't participate in any operation during that time

A lot of the images shows the USSR as an enemy along with the US, i didn't know that the USSR was at the same stage of America (even this is comprehensible when looking at the massive deliveries of ballistic missiles and armored from USSR to Saddam)

After 1991, there are no pictures depicting the USSR/Russia as an evil at the same stage as the US

The pictures of these soldiers is just heart breaking.

It is. But this was a defining moment in our history. Iran needed a kickstart out of its centuries slumber. The population is still lazy and sleepy. A generation or two will fix that. too.

The Holy Defense provided that kickstart. On the back of these brave men.

Iran today is forged in the fires of war.
