ER folks set the bones and put her in a splint. She will be calling for an appointment this morning with the orthopedic specialist. Surgery will be required.
The irony? We were in the very same room I was in back in January.

The ER doc was very clear: no way around it. Surgery. Which brings me to the latest update.
We see the orthopedic specialist next Weds. They like to let everything set for 7 days minimum for the injury to reduce before they take additional x-rays and determine when they can perform surgery.
The upside is she will be fitted for a walking cast. She's actually thinking about trying to drive with her left foot.
LOL.....that would be "reservation" style. Men and dogs ride in the cab. Women and children in the bed.Been there, done that.
Passengers will have to ride in the back.
