Pakistani patriotism needs to be formed around a shared Pakistani identity that encompasses all the ethnic groups that make up Pakistan. Effective governance that carries out it's duties and fulfils the needs of ALL the citizens needs to be created so that everyone in Pakistan feels included. Pakistani patriotism and nationalism can emerge from this. A shared Pakistani Islamic identity can hold this together too.

You dont need to force down Patriotism in people throats stop abusing/raping their rights as citizens give them rights and the leaders they choose a platform to voice their grieveances and overtime only minor fringe fanatics would be left
We actually did this in parts of rural KPK and Waziristan after independence when we had a full blown insurgency in that area over time Government (Federal and Local) integrated them both politically and financially did not abuse/rape their rights and as time passed only faqir of Ipi was left alone and Isolated after that namak harams tried to stir up trouble but locals without the support of the army easily pushed them and in some cases even captured and handed them to the army garrison their
Sometimes the solution is not always "My way or the highway"
maybe tone down your mighty ego and power tripping nature as high as the himalayas and talk to them and treat them as an equal Pakistani

Nationalism and Patriotism has failed in Pakistan as it is absent on the ground. The people are of different nationalities and linguistic groups. Urdu is only a common language. The political leadership in Punjab is promoting Punjabi Nationalism as it is scared of Pashtuns under Imran Khan. Only religion can unite Pakistan and the region around it.

Pashtun or Punjabi languages is more than just a means to communicate. Languages are tried to our history and culture before Pakistani existed , that are part of the foundation of national and personal identity. So just knock it off with Urdu is just a Franca language. Not the same!!!

you dont need thousands of troops just need a decent acceptable amount which are trained to do their job properly and competent leadership who has the will and capacity to fix this problem properly and end the mess once and for all
unfortunately both dont exist in PAK army is busy rigging elections making bogus cases against PTI tries to undermine its provincial government in KPK which is vastly more stable than fake bugti Balochistan and our intelligence capacity has gotten so bad since 2022 that Indians openly and brazenly took out what they called high level terroists right on our soil with their agents TTP and BLA smuggled boatloads of american weaponry and explosives materials while Lumber 1 ISI was busy making voyeurism porno flicks of Judges/Journalist/Politician and local citizen as blackmail material
When the organization which purpose is to tackle with this problem is busy in its side projects and its chief is busy either spreading unlimited peace or putting more of his cronies into power (Who dont have either the capacity/capability/competence) for the jobs their assinged (One example is that of our SHO ki maar the jack of all trades master of none former CNN fixer now interior minister PCB chief and soon (rumoured) to be President)
