PA MLRS, Self Propelled and towed artillery [BM-11, Fatah-I GMLRS, Fatah-II] - News, Updates & Discussions

Can we have all messages about the FATAH 3 in the missiles section please. This is not artillery and high speed LACM.

Army gave rocket force a whole new separate command. We can give them a separate thread i guess. Artillery corps in army is not uner rocket force , is it? This thread should be for artillery only. M109's, SH-15, towed stuff etc. The Army forum needs a thread dedicated for the new rocket force.

We have too many other types of missiles that can be discussed in the missile thread in strategic forum, ababeel, shaheen, ghauri, nasr, babur, abdali, ghaznavi, taimoor, Bahadur shah Zafar etc. etc. But i think that fatah series and stuff under ARFC should be in a new thread here in army section.

Besides Army doesn't call fatah series "missiles", they call them rockets! ;)

I agree with the Rocket Force Thread

In reality? Says who? In May we saw maybe 2.5-3 TELs worth of F1s being launched, 20-25 missiles, if they had like 1500 missiles in spare you would have seen a lot more full salvos.
In May 2025, they thought there was a realistic prospect of a general war breaking out very soon. They weren't going to launch more than a few in case they had a real full-scale war in the afternoon or evening, rather than the very limited conflict we had in reality.

Real full scale conflict had already started after India attacked our airbases, what did you need after that? Nukes??

" Fatah - IV seems to be is a top-attack missile and not the terrain hugging which signals it was a GL-ARM (Ground Launch-Anti Radiation Missile) variant of Fatah-IV.

ISPR video of Fatah-IV test back on Sep 30, 2025 didn't show the impact portion of the test so the flight trajectory and attack formation was unknown until now.

This is the first time we have witnessed it with a top-attack formation and an air-bust munition which is mostly used for an EW system. This can also mean Fatah-IV has multiple variants."

It’s a Pop up attack. It follows terrain hugging profile and climbs up and then dives at the target, at the very end in the terminal phase.

Top attack is a term used for ATGMs.

Does Tomahawk also follow the same attack pattern?
