Anza-III is the advanced form of Anza-MK-I and Anza-MK-II. The basic difference between them is that the first and second Sam Missiles were portable and could be fired from shoulder. While the new version Anza-III is fired by a mobile or fixed launcher.

"...For a long time China has been self-sufficient in ATGW production. The most common system is the Hongjian-8 (HJ-8) from NORINCO. The second-generation “Red Arrow-8”, the equivalent of the American TOW, has been in People’s Liberation Army (PLA) service since 1987. The HJ-8E has a tandem HEAT warhead and 4,000m range, while the HJ-8F has two warheads (HEAT and HE) for use against bunkers. The newest missile type is said to be the HJ-8H with 6km range. A lightweight launcher (HJ-8L) weighing only 22.2kg has an improved anti-jamming capability.

An improved third-generation version known as the HJ-9 has a 5.5km range. Its launch tube is heavier than that of the HJ-8 (37kg compared to 25kg). The HJ-9A uses semi-active millimetre-wave radar guidance and it has been seen mounted on 4×4 vehicles and armoured vehicles, although it is believed to be dismountable. The PLA also fields the recoilless PF98 (Type 98) rocket launcher that fires an HE or tandem HEAT projectile out to 1.8km. The complete tripod-mounted system with day/night sight system weighs 29kg and measures 1.191m long. Alternatively, the PF98 can be fired from the shoulder.

The HJ-8 has been produced under license by Kahuta Research Laboratories in Pakistan as the Baktar-Shikan since the late 1990s. Up till 2010, Pakistan had manufactured some 20,350 missiles. This system has been mounted on Pakistani APCs and helicopters, plus the Muslim country has exported it to Bangladesh, Malaysia and Sri Lanka."

"First revealed by Global Industrial and Defence Solutions (GIDS) in May 2024, the ‘Burq’ is a family of lightweight air-to-ground missiles (AGM) meant for use from drones, namely GIDS’ Shahpar 2 and Shahpar-3 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV).

The 3 members of the BURQ family showcased and unveiled at DSA 2024 are BURQ-45P, BURQ-50P, and BURQ-25G, all differ in warhead size, guidance options, and range.

  • BURQ-45P (In-Production): has a range of 2.5 to 12 kilometers. It features a 10kg warhead with blast fragmentation and thermobaric effects.
  • BURQ-50P (Under-Qualification): is a heavier option with a 20kg warhead. It offers three guidance configurations: IMU/GPS, IMU/GPS/Gimb Laser, and IMU/GPS/Fixed Laser. The BURQ-50P has a longer range of 2.5 to 15 kilometers.
  • BURQ-25G (Under-Development): is the smallest and lightest munition in the series, weighing only 25kg. It has an 8kg blast fragmentation warhead and a range of 2.5 to 14 kilometers.

Overall, the Burq-series represents Pakistan’s push to acquire its own short-range guided AGMs. In fact, the weight and warhead specifications of the Burq-45P and Burq-50P reflect an AGM that is similar in concept to ATGMs, like the Hellfire-II and many others. This design approach may be an indication of Pakistan adopting the Burq-series for use from other platforms, such as an attack helicopter, surface vehicle, or small fast-attack craft (FAC) at sea.

Interestingly, GIDS has yet to reveal a variant of the Burq with an imaging infrared (IIR) seeker. It would be a peculiar omission considering how Pakistan is trying to widely use its indigenous IIR in as many applications as possible, from the 1,100+ kg Taimoor air-launched cruise missile (ALCM) to the under-200 kg AZB-81LR. There is a reasonable chance an IIR-equipped variant of the Burq will be revealed in the near future, thereby creating a full fire-and-forget ATGM option."

Ukraine war showed us all a lot

For destroying and stopping Indian armour especially tanks

Either you win total air supremacy like USA did in gulf war or israel did in it's Arab wars and your fighters smash Indian tanks

Or

You do what Ukraine did to Russia
Drones
Stand off weapons like Atgms
Artillary

If you can afford attack choppers this would decimate Indian armour
But you need alot of helicopters in the hundred plus mark.

The current Z10 saga indicates, that drones with ATGM+ capabilities has been added to the war doctrine.....
