Did anyone notice anything peculiar wrt to J-10 serials after the induction ceremony video was posted out? PAF has done something I have not observed in the likes of Jf-17, F-16 and F-7s.

which is ??? You cannot lead with those sentences and leave it like that?
Well, I noticed the 2023 serials not picking off from the end of the 2022 ones, I think the highest we have seen from 2022 was number 19 or something, while at the induction ceremony we could clearly see a 23-107, now PAF convention would have it be 23-127 (assuming 20 inducted in 2022). With 23-107, no one can be certain how many delivered in 2022, or overall fleet size.

And if they leave you guessing - imagine what people actually trying to keep tabs would be thinking. It is possible that 107 was kept in Chengdu and has been added to the PAF roster in 23 hence the different year unless there is a 22-107 in which case it could be by years.

That is exactly it. We have similar cases with JF-17 serial numbers

J10Cs full load PLAAF.

That is not a full load, but it does demonstrate another advantage that J-10C enjoys.

Thanks to full digital flight control, automatically taking account of weight differential and trim the aircraft without pilot intervention, the J-10C can expand its multi-role potential by taking asymmetric loadouts on its two wings.

The pic demonstrates J-10C with 3 dump tanks, 2 pods, 1 KD-88 training payload, a PL-12, and 1 PL-10s, the right wing, carrying the KD-88 AGM and the PL-10, is notably heavier than the left.

There are other examples of this that proves the point further, but the advantage stands.

I guess it all depends on the mission portfolio

PAF J-10CE have proved their mettle in the recent Zilzaal-II Joint Aerial Exercise. Being pitched against advanced european fighters, the platform earned its reputation and place in the highly contested fighter arena.

J-10CE has made PAF as a very potent force in the region!

So what was the conclusion on the Pl-15 / Pl-15E range? There seems to be an official poster from the manufacturer specifying 145 km for Pl-15E. So how does that outrange the Meteor (which has widely accepted 200 km range).
