Yup. But they are insidious -Delulu people .
Let's open a new halwa shop in Kabul - "TTA get to eat free"...They will be back for sure. I hope we have our next list of targets ready.
We need to keep them under continuous ISR surveillance through drones.
Not just him.@Ghaznavi101 may I please request that you bow out of this thread for a brief period as emotions are high on both sides.
There will be time to look at the bigger picture soon. InshaAllah.
We are diverting from the topic but the mods may allow a couple of posts. That all ended when Pakistan was propped up by the west. We were forced to join in on the soviets, and the rest is a history as they say.
They are allowed to hate Pak. I'm not here to make friends with them either!View attachment 154183
never learn pakistan, never learn...
though, i guess in the short term it would be helpful, in the long term though? Only solution is one like Israel.
OTOH, in the meantime would be fun to annex wakhan and let the NRF use it as a staging ground for their rebuild protected by pak, but just remember, they hate pak too.
I got what you said. I was reinforcing your point by adding that we have no desire, no intention on any of their land.Bro. I said “cannot”.
How about for every afghani terrorist attack in Pakistan in future, we level 10 of their posts, shut off trade for 30 days, and deport 50000 afghanis? All conflicts end in talks. Sooner or later.
What has been meted out has given the other side a pause. That they are hard-headed goes without saying but they don't hold all the cards either.
This is the FIRST time when series pain has been inflicted and it is overwhelmingly one-sided. They know it.
But this is a long road. In my mind, here is a reason why this mess will perpetuate.
Taliban truly think that they are doing the ummah a service and displacing Pakistan's military/constitution and a Talibanized takeover of the country is another step in solidifying their ideology. It won't stop there. From Pakistan, it would be Iran next and then into the Gulf etc. The funny thing is that the RSS morons gloating over this divide have no idea that at one point, Pakistan/Afghanistan would be united in challenging and eventually displacing Indian hegemony in South Asia.
My own thinking is that instead of this militancy based approach, Pakistani society has already been Islamized enough where there isn't a hard pushback on imposition of Sharia (we run a federal shariat court). It is slowly happening on its own. Compare what Pakistan was in the 60s/70s/90s and what it is now and it is evident.
b) Taliban are
In case of ANY suicide attack, Pakistan should hit Kabul/Kandahar directly! And then push 50,000 Afghan refugees across the border by trucking them to the border.
The pain has to be raised manifold for the Taliban and their proxies. If Pakistani citizens die by their IED/suicide bombings, then they are clearly opening the door for their own citizens dying in Pakistani response.
It would be EXTREMELY unfortunate if Taliban go down this path. Pakistan is NOT killing their citizens daily. They need to understand this very clearly. But Pakistan will be forced to respond aggressively.
"We were forced to join in on the soviets"Youre probably too young and ignorant, that's why you don't know that Afghanistan was a thriving democracy in the 60s and 70s. We didn't need Soviet socialism or western capitalism.
That all ended when Pakistan was propped up by the west. We were forced to join in on the soviets, and the rest is a history as they say. CIA, Pakistan, Saudi, madrasas, terrorism, depashtunization, WOT, Taliban 2.0 and cavemen of 2026.
There will not be a full-fledged war. Pakistani government and our security establishment know they don't want one. The idea is no different than Turkey's attempts to manage the Kurdish problem through attacks in Iraq and Syria.I am surprised this is still going on and that is being escalated. This war does not benefit either side.
If it goes on and a full scale war erupts, both Pakistan and Afghanistan would face economic collapse, though in different ways. Pakistan, already burdened by massive debt and dependent on IMF loans, would see its military spending soar, reserves drain, and investor confidence evaporate, likely leading to default within months. Inflation would surge, the currency would crash, and austerity would follow. Afghanistan, with almost no financial reserves or institutional support, would suffer immediate devastation, trade would halt, imports would dry up, and millions would face unemployment and hunger. Pakistan would be crippled by debt; Afghanistan by destitution. Both nations would emerge weaker, poorer, and far less stable than before.
I am not sure if both Pakistani and Afghan brothers realize this, but cheering this on is actually idiotic, this if it continues, would cripple both nations, especially Afghanistan.
No they think we need to rule the Pakistani pushtoon not free them or join them.A large segment of the Taliban are essentially a pan-Pashtun extremist group that shroud themselves in an Islamic cloak to appear more acceptable.
Their goal is to seize KP, despite the fact vast majority of Pashtuns in KP don’t want to be apart of Afghanistan.
They think Afghan = Pashtun and Pashtun = Afghan
It should not be mistaken as a purely Islamist group.
He is as jahil and ill-informed as they come. Embarrassment to senior retired officers on both sides of the divide. He has a Ph.D. and his research subject was the growth of mustaches and the mastery of shouting skills.
