PAF did very well. They are professional and to a great extent are apolitical unlike Army, which has drowned in greed and has openly become a awless body.
PAF has really performed true to their reputation if figure of 7 is correct.

Rest, Modi and Asim Muneer topi drama has also wrapped up.
Per reports, Pak is opening its air space.
Doval and Pak new imposed ISI NSA will discuss finer points of the settlement.
What a shameful drama.

@Quwa I need your expert insight please.

Is the H4 standoff still a viable strike package or is it now taking a back seat?

thanks.

Any SOW is a good SOW as far as the PAF's concerned. It's data-link-only config might be stressed against Indian EW jamming though, but that's assuming that EW is dense. So, I can see that in less covered areas, H-4 could still be very viable.

However, if we're talking 3-5 years from now, then H-4 will take a back seat and more autonomous SOWs (e.g., Rasoob 250, AZB-81LR, etc) will be critical.

From what I have observed,Long range SOWs like Subsonic cruise missiles can't replace the traditional bombing runs.
The number of munitions required in long battle is simply too much.No one can produce cruise Missiles in enough numbers.B/c these cruise things are too expensive.
While 4th Gen Fighters can't stand alone in today's battle space. We are ill equiped for offensive operations and so is India.
It took India almost 70 aircraft for them to carry out an offensive operation.
Both Need 5th Gen Fighters Urgently I think it's just Time India will go for F35.

tbh...even ahead of stealth NGFAs, both sides will likely pursue fast-jet UCAVs.
