Let our representatives run the country.Dekh lan ge kon kina pani ch a.
Do not call us cults.

When your leader, a former Prime Minister of Pakistan, publicly calls you to send money to Pakistan via illegal channels, knowing the consequences due the FATF Rules, and you guys still glorify him then you are indeed a CULT! Not all of you but a large part of you and that also reflects in the 'journalism' by the pro PTI supporters.

Mirza family routed from Badin politics

Feb 11, 00:46
The Mirza family of Badin, long-time adversaries of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and outspoken critics of the Zardari family, has been routed, losing all seats from the district for the first time since their entry into parliament in 1993.

Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, the former home minister of Sindh, his wife Dr Fehmida Mirza, Pakistan’s first female National Assembly speaker, and their son Barrister Hasnain Mirza failed to maintain their political dominance in Badin, attributing their decline to the “rifts” with the PPP.

According to a close associate of the Mirza family, “A financially weak Mirza family cannot defeat the PPP’s affluent landlords.”

When BB asked America to apply sanctions on Pakistan, that was ok.

Protests erupt across Sindh over alleged poll rigging

Feb 11, 00:28
A day after the election results were announced, protests erupted in several districts of Sindh on Saturday, as losing candidates and their political parties alleged irregularities in the vote counting system. The Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) has called for widespread protests on February 11.

Maulana Rashid Mehmood Soomro, the provincial leader of JUI-F, led a sit-in outside a temporary office of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) in Sukkur district on Saturday. Soomro claimed that the results were manipulated to favour the Pakistan Peoples Party and warned of blocking the National Highway at 28 different locations in Sindh from Karachi to Kashmore. He set a deadline of 8am on February 11 for the ECP to accept their demands.

In Badin district, candidates from the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA), led by former speaker of the National Assembly Dr Fehmida Mirza and former Sindh home minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza, along with their supporters, held a sit-in protest at DC Chowk. Dr Zulfiqar alleged organised rigging through the District Returning Officers (DROs) and Returning Officers (ROs) in these elections, accusing the PPP of imposing mafias in the guise of elected representatives on the people of Badin.

No, it wasn't. They too are opportunists.
Yes. If we let the leaders be, they will grow. With a quasi government of top of the elected government, this natural process is being smothered (maybe by design).

Same BB fought to reverse pressler amendment when allowed to have her mandate.

Same IK launched roshan digital account that bright in billions.

Three newly-elected independent MNAs join PML-N

Updated Feb 10, 23:04
Three newly-elected independent members of National Assembly announced allegiance to Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on Saturday, increasing the seats for Nawaz Sharif’s party two days after the general elections.

Barrister Aqeel, Raja Khurram Nawaz, and Mian Khan Bugti, successful independent candidates from various constituencies, have officially announced their decision to join the PML-N, adding to the party's growing strength.

When Mota Nawaja said that Ajmal Kasab is from Pakistan that is ok?
Then he also said that Pak picked up American Tomahawk missile
from Afghanistan and reverse engineered it. Is that ok?

It’s the singling out and not talking about the rest who’ve done worse that gets me.

Hah?
Imran Khan, after losing the 2013 elections publicly called for people to not pay their utilities bills during his months long disruption of life trying to topple the Nawaz Sharif govt. and after his ouster from power in April 2022 has publicly called Pakistanis to send money via 'Hundi', which is an illegal money transmission channel, with potentially dire consequences for Pakistan.

So Imran gets back to power with a 2/3rd majority and the Opposition might just say: Go, take the crown with the thorns! But then I wonder what you would say in year 2026 when inflation is off the charts and people out on the streets wishing for USD to be back to 280 Rupees from, say, 500 Rupees?

Why can't people deduce from past performance what may happen in the future?? By all accounts, Imran, until late 2021, had the full support of the Establishment but Imran's instincts were and probably still are about crushing any viable opposition to his rule. He showed those traits as a cricket captain. He even insulted his fellow cricketers on a stage after winning the 1992 World Cup by portraying that was HIS win--I think they walked out on him!!

And who can say if today Imran dies, there will be any PTI left?!! It is a CULT guys, a CULT! The best Pakistan can do would be to use the CULT to Pakistan's benefits while the guy is still alive. Bookmark this post/make screen shot and come to me when Imran passes away! I will be proven correct.

Of what he understands of politics, he tried to maneuver, like all politicians do. Yes, we should hope the country uses his efforts to serve its interests, but the longer the system doesn’t accept the rising expectations of the public for basic services and a level field to do business, your going to get celebrities galvanize the public. When one celebrity goes, another will take his place. You keep calling it a cult, but I will keep saying its aspirations of a large enough section of the public thinking they are working through an outlet, not unlike Trump.

Politics should not be this interesting. It should be mundane, stable, and functional, especially for a developing nation that needs to keep a low profile.

It’s the singling out and not talking about the rest who’ve done worse that gets me.

There are some who also talk against Usman Buzdar but won't talk against
Shahbaz/Nawaz's corruption and extra judicial killings.

These 2 brothers will burn down the whole Pakistan to save their @rses from the
Model Town killings and save their looted wealth.
