PML-N gets lion's share of NA’s reserved seats for women from Punjab

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has revealed the allocation of 20 reserved seats for women in the National Assembly from Punjab, with the majority granted to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
The ECP spokesperson stated that the commission is currently examining the matter concerning the allotment of reserved seats for the Sunni Ittehad Council (SIC), the party supported by PTI-backed independent candidates.
As per the ECP, the PML-N secured 17 seats, while one seat each was allotted to the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), the Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q), and Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP).
Among the reserved seat winners for PML-N are Tahira Aurangzeb, Shaista Pervaiz, Marriyum Aurangzeb, Nuzhat Sadiq, Musarrat Asif Khawaja, Seema Mohiud Din Jamili, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Romina Khurshid Alam, Wajiha Qamar, Zeb Jaffar, Kiran Imran, Anusha Rahman Ahmad Khan, Zahra Wadood Fatemi, Asia Naz Tanoli, Saba Sadiq, Farah Naz Akbar, and Shahnaz Saleem Malik.
