Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

@Oscar
I was wondering how would the Babur/Fatah 4 would mask itself in the terrain when the indias western side is literally plain , like woudnt it increase the rates of interception?
We saw the effectiveness of american and israeli CMs after how they used the iranian mountains to hide themselves .
Depends on what are we considering as a target and then overall curvature of the earth, you are using altitude, low radar cross‑section, and GPS‑enabled routes to slip through gaps in coverage, avoid high‑altitude SAM batteries, and attack fixed targets like airfields, logistics hubs, or command nodes.

The advantage subsonic CMs have is their maneuverability - they can go like a mouse between gaps especially against ground based sensors and then use different angles to attack which may not be covered by a SHORAD looking at a particular angle.

Now that may be negated by a AEW flying but then you try to ensure that at a AEW does not fly anywhere close to it or that any air based response is negated.

The most effective approaches always treat weapons like part of a system instead of "lets fire this and see".

Indian security establishment feels confident in it having enough AD to manage Pakistan's conventional missile arsenal, especially the subsonic cruise missiles and low tier supersonic ones. At the moment anyway. Some extremists even believe they can survive a nuclear exchange as they see Pakistan is increasingly incompetent and lagging, and poor.

Pakistan needs to mass produce a capable unit of ballistic missiles that can reach upto at least 400km, as well as some cruise missiles, sub-sonic and supersonic. Perhaps limited number of hypersonic if possible reserved for HVT.
You have F2 for this, it wasn't used last time.

The israelis and americans don't have enough AD to stop Iranian missiles and here we are supposed to believe that india can stop Pakistani missiles...... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: ................perhaps on planet bud bud ding ding they can.........:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Some thoughts on why it doesn't make sense for us to go down that road.

Iran planned to fight under enemy air dominance since they have no airforce essentially. Furthermore, their BMs (and drones) are the only thing that can reach their enemy. This makes their BM capability all of their military capability and they must ensure its survival.

For Pakistan, we thankfully have a PAF that will not let IAF establish air dominance over our territory, restricting IAF to standoff munitions to target our BMs/launchers/factories. Standoff munitions are expensive, low in numbers, can be jammed/intercepted. Additionally, IAF will not have emergency shipment of stupid amounts of munitions like Izzi. All of this is saying IAF will have nowhere near the munitions delivery that US + Israel does over Iran. Consequently, it wouldn't be a wise use of our funds to build large underground complexes against an enemy that has very limited ability to hit 100s of targets.

I may be suffering from tunnel vision but I dont think our planners plan on facing enemies besides India in any serious sense.

This makes sense and maybe is a good reason for not having 50+ underground missile cities, but why not just maybe 5 to be on the safe side ? Because maybe next time India won't be alone and will have full support of Israel just like it had in sindoor. Maybe this time they will even support with planes and pilots. Can we really response to any such Israeli attack by attacking Israeli land without the option of nuclear ? I don't think the answer to this is YES.

Would very odd thing to do with high-level foreign dignitaries visiting. Then again, these are odd times.

I am curious what missile it could be, perhaps some shore based (Zarb maybe)

GIDS Fattah 2 ER-Rockets were used to target Barnala IACCS, Punjab (2 x ER Rockets), Hisar airport near dehli (2 x ER Rockets) and Sirsa AFS (2 x ER Rockets)

All of these were intercepted except one that fell near Barnala IACCS

All of these intercepted by S-400 SAM System, these GIDS Fattah 2 ER-Rockets flew parabolic trajectory

That is why need Tactical Aero-Ballistic Missiles.
