Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

In the early morning today, a natural cloud-like iridescence was seen over Quetta, and at the same time, a 🇺🇸 USAF RC-135S Cobra Ball took off from Al Udeid Air Base and operated near Pakistan over the Arabian Sea, in international waters off the coast of Gwadar. A Pakistan NOTAM was also active and remains in effect until October 29, which strongly hints at possible missile testing activity.

This led many in the Pakistani OSINT community to believe a test took place. Being in class, I didn’t have time to confirm or research further, but I posted after seeing reports from credible OSINT sources claiming to have military contacts.

No official statement followed, and later, the Pakistan Meteorological Department described the phenomenon as a “rare lenticular cloud formation over Koh-e-Murdaar, Quetta.”

What’s more interesting and what caught everyone’s attention to believe it is this: why would a USAF RC-135S Cobra Ball, a specialized missile tracking and telemetry aircraft, which literally came all the way from Omaha, Nebraska to Qatar, suddenly take off before dawn and fly straight toward Pakistan’s coastline during the exact window when those spiral trails appeared, if there was no missile test?

It’s not a tourist flight. These aircraft don’t move unless there’s strategic data to collect, so its timing, route, and mission profile all line up perfectly with missile test monitoring, not “cloud-watching.”

The United States once referred to the DF-ZF as the WU-14

A vehicle like the DF-ZF could be fitted to various Chinese ballistic missiles, such as the DF-21 medium-range missile (extending range from 2,000 to 3,000 km (1,200 to 1,900 mi)), and the DF-31 intercontinental ballistic missiles (extending range from 8,000 to 12,000 km (5,000 to 7,500 mi)).

1st question is on which Pakistani Missile it was fitted. (if its 1500km max then may be it is fitted on shaheen 1 boosters.
2nd question: does MTCR applies on HGV? only HGV?

Pakistan already got 2 briefings on J35 just this month along with Zardari's visit last month, so J35 is pretty much on track. Chinese are very efficiency-conscious. They would not be wasting their time on this if Pakistan was not gonna fly the J35s. I'd keep that prediction of yours in success too. just needs time for procurement and integration.

Instead of procuring, why not just rent them out for a week when need be - it's not like they'll get damaged or anything.

This is more of a signal to USA as well....that we have the weapons...here it is for you to track.....and you figure out what will happen if India fucks around again.

Basically telling USA that we will go all in next time if a next time is something Indians are looking forward to.

The Lenticular clouds formation requires high speed winds trapped in high mountains....so there was neither high speed winds nor high mountains...

the cloud formation appeared over open terrain......was Not Lenticular clouds ....non natural.

Only yesterday I read a joke about Some guys in Atlanta who thought getting high on jet fuel was a good idea so they took a bottle of jet fuel each. Next morning all woke up quite fresh. They got online and texted each other that how good it was. Until one of them said Hey boys! Have any of you farted yet? Everybody said no. He said I did and .......... now I am in Phoenix. 🥺
...........

Imagine going to sleep laughing on this joke and then waking up and looking at this news in the morning. You can guess my thoughts easily I think 🤔.

Sindh Club or Gym Khana? :P

Sind Club is for elites and so is Boat Club

Leave us poor Karachi Gymkhana members out of this elite title, its prestigious not elite
