Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

I am sure after Iranian missile barrage - Pakistan will be thinking of implications and utilization of Pakistan Rocket force and conventional employment on large scale as well.

By the way if as per reports Iran fired 120 BMs in 2 hours.

our whole operational stock would be 200-350 ballistic missiles of all types (Ghaznavi/Abadali/Ghauri/Shaheen/Shaheen II)
Did you count the number of TEL's we have, and then multiplied it by "X," to arrive at this number?

No, i just purely speculated since we purchased first 20-25 Nodong 1 and 2 TEL in Early 1997 and called it Ghauri, after that and serious shortcomings of missiles were found since ToT was established, we requested China to help improve and make it a working weapon system. it took 3-4 years only then a re-born Ghauri was launched and deemed successful every other test before 2002 were failure.

it took lot of time for technicians and engineers to absorb the chinese provided Tech. in mean time since Ghauri was nonfunctional as a weapon and Pakistan`s predicament Chinese offered Ghaznavi (off the shelf) and Shaheen (CKD form).

Our indigenous achievement is Abdali SSM

so by now you could understand we are not manufactured with R&D. we are learning hands on and absorbing and this is what we can do.

by the way latest fatah series is also inspired.

I am amazed as some posters think that we have the capacity to do R&D and develop Missile systems. we do not have the base or even wind tunnel to test proper mathematics via super computer.

we absorb and try to devise best possible utilization.

Nodong - Now that's a funny name. Just imagine a guy saying, "I have No-Dong" :D

As to the rest of your post, on an open forum, the less said, the better.

real question is can india build a multilayer air defense like this?
how much it costs and can they do it?

Even US cannot build a multilayer AD like Israel did with western money

Israel was very small. US is not.

US needs 1 trillion dollar to make similar structure for Texas only.

The very fact that even a single Iranian missile penetrated the most dense and technologically advanced SAM-AD systems in the world, means Indian hubris about "defeating" missiles won't hold weight in real life

All it takes is a single nuclear tipped warhead to slip through and the job is done. And India is not as well protected as Israel anywhere.

I think it's in scenarios like this where the phrase "offence is the best defence" applies most, but both sides are deterred by the said offence (nukes)

lol.don’t you dare to compare India’s abm with israeli abm.israeli ABM is designed with American company.and india doesn’t really have any practical ABM which can intercept Pakistani ballistic missiles.your only hope is s-400 which will not be that effective duo to quantity issue.
Then how did PDV MK2 missile shot down a satellite at an altitude of 290km, far away from mainland india?
The missile has the capability to shoot down targets moving at 10 km per second in orbits as high as 1,200 km.

Moreover, S-400 could not even intercept Ukrainian tactical ballistic missiles. Shaheen/Ababeel is way overkill for S-400.

The development of hypersonic weapons nowadays generally includes ballistic missiles,☞MARVs (Mobile Reentry Ballistic Missiles)☞bipyramids☞ waverider/ HCMs (Scramjet Powered Hypersonic Cruise Missiles). MARVs are typically defined as having much lower maneuverability than true hypersonic assisted gliders and are more locked into wide ballistic trajectories.
I would like to ask the BMS in Pakistan, based solely on publicly available information, which stage is it currently at?Screenshot_20240419_132713_Baidu Translate.jpg
