Pakistan Missiles - Updates, News & Discussion

That's good info.
The tactical need is to hit military targets at a rapid pace, with little chance of intercept, and something which can be produced at numbers.
From a purely tactical standpoint, the value of the CJ-100/DF-100 as it currently exists lies primarily in controlling the range of collateral damage from strike operations.

For example: we need to strike some enemy target 3000KM away. If the CJ-100/DF-100 is used for the strike mission, it will cause very little collateral damage to the surrounding environment. However, if we use the DF-26 to perform this mission, it will cause a lot of collateral damage to the surrounding environment.

That's the key right there, we need to limit collateral damage to anything around Indian military targets. Hence why I have made mention of the DF-100. We need precise strike capability.

No missile with this strike range can be exported ......

Both the DF-100 and the DF-26 are high-precision medium-range missiles.

If we want to attack an enemy command hidden in a school classroom, both missiles can accurately achieve the tactical purpose. The difference is that when we use the DF-100, we can accurately destroy this classroom but do very little damage to other classrooms. When we use the DF-26, the entire building is destroyed .......

Buddy a missile impacting a mach 4-5 will obliterate the school. With or without warhead.

Having it ranged at MTCR missile range i.e. 300km can be done. Or Pakistan can work with China on such a version then increase the range periodically. India did the same with the Brahmos.

We are fairly certain to get a glimpse of the new hypersonic cruise missile and the DF-27, DF-51, DF-61, and possibly more surprises.
You talking about pak or china?
Ain't no way pak is getting DF51 or any hypersonic missile from china

Strictly speaking, Pakistan does not lack theoretical technology for medium-range missiles.

When we break down missile technology, it will involve materials technology, precision machining technology, electronic information technology and so on. Pakistan has some capabilities in each of these areas, but none of them are very deep. So what Pakistan needs to do is to delve deeper in these areas.

That loud-mouthed bastard across the border was braying about the BrahMos today. The only response to that donkey (I have never used such language for any Indian leader but the incumbent deserves this and more) is a massive hypersonic one. I don't even care if it is just a Pakistani flag stuck on a DF-17. I couldn't care less about indigenous development, all that matters is that Pakistan has the ability to hit with a hypersonic response in a QPQ+ manner

We didn't even used what we have in last exchange. We used probably our least expensive, smallest range weapon that guided rockets of Fatah-1 GMLRS.

Indian media over-hyped their air defense. All they did is shot down some drones. If we would have fired our BMs, they would have hit at deep depths across india. Our restrain has given them this one bragging point.

We have a whole range of Cruise missiles and Ballistic missiles available to us. We can punish india severely if it really comes to that. We just have to show lesser restrain next time.

TBH I wish we hadn't shot down rafales all this show mo response on 10th was cause we had already shot down their jets, everyone pressured us and we gave into the pressure

We aren't asking either.
Pakistan is probably more interested in a supersonic cruise missile anyway.

Tactical ballistic missile inventory (Fatahs), subsonic cruise missile inventory (Taimoors, Rasoobs), supersonic cruise missile inventory (YJ-12), loitering munitions, and if lucky a hypersonic glide body is what is likely to come.

Hypersonic cruise missile will be out of reach for a while...
