Lakes bana diye to phir housing societies Kahan banayn gy ? @RajaBaja
Baat to sahi ha. Like everything has started to go in a better direction, this will also be addressed too. We can't afford another devastation by India unleashing water attacks like this.
We need to educate everyone around us that we need Lakes every 50 KM or so as water reservoirs. It's a matter of our sovereignty now.
Can we really blame India ? I mean they did warned us 12 and then again 10 days before this actually happened, about the situation on their side and what to expect.
Absolutely. It wad India's plans to inflict massive devastation on Pakistan. Like I've been saying they want us extinct and gone. Their Hindutva and it's illegitimate child "Akhand Bharat" has no place for one of the largest Muslim nations. So expect anything from them to destroy us.
They are under heavy rain season like we are. They have the weather radars and technology that predicts how much rain is happening or could happen.
Satluj and Ravi primarily come from the Himachal Pradesh state. It takes about 7 days for water from Himacha's mountains to get to Pakistan. Floods aren't invisible. When it all started, they knew very well how much water as flood is coming to their dams in a few days.
They needed to start to slow release that much estimated water to make room in their dams for this rain water to fill in. They didn't do it. Slow release into Pakistani area means NO FLOOD. But they didn't do it. On purpose, they kept their dam shut. Allowed for accumulation of water to the maximum and then as a pressure downwards with serious kinetic force on spill ways, opened ALL dates to the top. That was a massive load of water. It didn't stop there, they, then kept the doors opened to pass through incoming water as well, essentially prolonging the time of massive water release into hundreds of thousands of cusecs. That entire massive load is what destroyed our entire agriculture belt. What's sad is, this needed to be escalated to UN or to some international system for future control but it hasn't happened yet.
