Wonder how many $B will be spent and the toll of common people - when will govts of nations such as India and Pakistan become truly people centric... India is doing better vs. 2000s if I am honest but still a long road. Don't know much about Pakistan's situation but hopefully its better as well

How do you empty out a lake that is a bowl in the earth. A lake made by a dam can be emptied out by opening the gates.
