POST WAR assessment of recent conflict.

The asset is hit but depot level fix - serendipitous considering the weapon used and where it hit. Loss of life however is still unfortunate.

The fault perhaps may lie with the timing of the attack and AD posture.
First, the attack was done barely 2 hours from the DECLARED CEASEFIRE time in the attempt to score it. Very ungentlemanly but no one expects that.

Next, AD was confused a little from ceasefire declaration to time to effect - potentially creating more confusion when the message from top was HOLD.
The message from top to HOLD meant no more attacks but could never mean no more defense.

Our AD was probably not as effective as Indian AD. S-400 is indeed considered one of the best systems in the world so it wouldn't really be a surprise that it did its job rather effectively.

The most important thing to note here is that high supersonic missiles like Brahmos (and possibly CM-400AKG) were rather effective whereas effectiveness of Fatah rockets is questionable unless satellite imagery is made availale of meaningful damage to Indian Military Targets.

I always thought these hardened hangers were supposed to protect the assets underneath by blowing outside; just like the explosive protection on the outside of Tanks meant to expel the force of the warhead detonation + impact of the missile. It would be truly amazing if the asset under the hanger was severely damaged.
There is debris all around the hangar indicating that there was a blast inside. A blast inside an enclosed space is likely to be more lethal and cause more damage to any equipment kept inside.
What was inside is known only to PAF. The fact that IAF struck this hangar specifically indicates an intel based operation.
Truth lies somewhere inbewteen.

It’s possible Indians via satellite may have observed a particular asset parked outside the hanger, and hence targeted it.

India has powerful space based network to be used for such situations.
Moreover, HUMINT may have played a bigger role in providing accurate information to confirm space based intel.

First, I'm asking — where are the images showing that we were actually hit?
Should we start listing what we hit?

Our Air Force was “paralyzed,” yet we were destroying PAF airbases across the length and breadth of Pakistan.
And if the PAF was dominating, why were they launching ground-to-ground missiles from civilian areas?

And what even is a “nuclear-based missile”? 😂
The idea that Pakistan didn’t retaliate is wrong — it simply had no options left.

It was Pakistan that escalated things.
It started with a drone on 7th May.
On 8th May, Indian drones were flying all over Pakistan. Take an ad break with that.

Then Pakistan came with rockets, Fateh-1, Fateh-2, and CM-400 — every single one of them was intercepted.

When we started with missiles, we hit everything we aimed at with impunity — completely unchallenged.

And am not going to replay again 👍
This is what too much Bollywood and Godi media does to your sense of reality🙈So prey explain why within few hours of Pakistan launching its attack did your spokesperson come on tv and list all the bases hit and say that they sustained manpower and material damage and asked for deescalation??😂Now go count how many ra-fails u still have left u 🤡

O yeah🤣shame all that didn’t help your 🤡AF stop its jets being shot down left right and centre🤣India is all talk and no trousers as always.

Do you know what happened in Kamra airbase? So 2-3 hours before ceasefire India fire brahmos but were intercepted as per my relative who work there. Is this true?

Now this again proves India was desperate to destroy PAF aircrafts and was launching missiles and also asking for ceasefire.

Hope you know the difference between a Hangar and a HAS (Hardened Aircraft Shelter) Hangar is nothing more than a garage which is usually used to carry out maintenance on aircraft or sometimes parked in it to protect from weather and it's not necessarily always occupied. HAS is to protect jets from attacks . Remember the incident where the roof of a hangar collapsed destroying and damaging several IAF Mirage-2000 jets.
As for capability of Indian satellites, well after India launched it's attack and mustered some 80 aircraft around LOC , obviously anticipating retaliation from the PAF, in theory Indian satellites should have been scanning Pakistani airspace and warn IAF of any approaching PAF jets...Well the end results shows the worth of Indian satellites, even the subsequent images India had to obtain from third party.

We should accept that we have problem of scale while involving government institutions in production. Fellot the Indian model to involve private sector in production. Initially Ghandara, Lucky, Mansha, Cresent and Chinoy groups setup separate defense entities for Tri services and all major production components should be done by then except final assembly. In out some of organisation people just passed the day. There should be proper task base assessments and output measurements. SPS scale are highly paid and its matter of country sovereignty. In one organisation scientist resigned once felt extensive intervention off 3 Stars officer. Gentle said to him your are right but you have to do what I am saying this is OK while they in military but while intertion with civilian entities this should be different and there should be proper guidelines for it. I must accept their is hadharami as well in such organisations. So something they oblique to use danda power. We can not stop every fired projectile but if enemy is aware that they will face twice projectile from our side , definitely they Gona think twice. Brahmos equivalent and self sufficiency in SAM are urgent Todo for next war.

The fact is indian airforce and navy were completely paralyzed and ONLY option india had left was to use nuclear capable ground to ground missiles

Once Pakistan escalated to non nuclear extended rockets it ran for ceasefire, Pakistan didnt even use ita nuclear capable arsenal which IMO, it should have.

No. Unlikely. I dont get how what im saying keeps getting misinterpeted. I must be doing a terrible job at writing down my thoughts. The balance of damage was wildly in our favour at that point. To attempt to correct it, they hit back next night with tonnes of LMs. THIS is when we should've responded at least in kind instead of waiting for days.
SIr, In hindsight now, i understand we had a political pressure not to proceed with immdiate response. if you noticed after 7-May-25 air Battle , what was telegraphed in words of Political setup was to de-escalate. LM/Drones was creating panic and Military leadership was put under stress for what - not to respond.

if you noticed, deployment of Fatteh 1 GMRLS was already done by the morning of 7-May-25. it was the political leadership that was faltering this time not the military. they knew this will escalate.

Appreciate the storytelling, but let’s ground it in facts from 2025 instead of imagination.
  1. “Where are the images of what India was hit with?”
You’ll find them in reports published by neutral European outlets, including footage shared by satellite analytics firms that showed scorched hangars in Bhuj, Amritsar, and Pathankot — notably blurred in Indian media, but exposed internationally. Go look up the May 9th SkyNet composite report.
  2. “PAF launched missiles from civilian areas?”
That’s ironic coming from a country that integrated BrahMos launchers inside populated cantonments. PAF's deployment of Fateh-1 and CM-400 was military-targeted — the fact that one of them vaporized the radar dome at Udhampur AB is on record.
  3. “Everything we aimed at was hit with impunity”
Except the Rafale that never returned, the S-400 battery reduced to scrap by a Mach-5 inbound, and the INS Vikramaditya that had to turn back due to targeting lock-on warnings from Babur-3 equipped submarines. Selective memory?
  4. “Pakistan had no options left?”
Pakistan chose escalation control — not incapability. The “option” of dragging both countries toward nuclear threshold was deliberately avoided by Pakistan’s restraint doctrine. Unlike India’s, which backfired diplomatically and militarily.
  5. Let’s not forget...
If everything was going so “unmatched,” why was the Indian Prime Minister on a hotline to Western capitals by Day 3, asking them to intervene for de-escalation?

Nothing at Kamra
If you mean Bholari - Ive already explained what happened.
