They blame only Imran Khan because he is a soft target, even when he is right. And also because he is brave enough to speak his mind about all pressing issues, even from a dark prison cell.
I understand Imran Khan point of view, he is western educated man, his thinking is different. What he is trying to say is we need to stop this war, pacify the militants, get the tribal people on our side, bring development, education, spread Pakistani ideology, unity, improve relations with Afghanistan government which is Taliban. Once the root causes are sorted, then we can easily finish off any remaining militants, if they survive because if they loose the religious/jihadi mentality support then they will be finished. This militants ideology is been funded in this region for 40 years, you cannot finish it so easily, we must support a counter ideology and pacify these people. Remember majority are still patriotic Pakistanis, it's probably 30% who are trouble makers due to brainwashing, propaganda done by jihadis. Slowly over the decades we will gain the upper hand.
Pakistan army position is ttp is khawarij, they are funded by Raw and we need to militarily finish them off, they have been trying for 20 years, the plan has worked to some extent but the ideology is still there and it keeps recruiting. They want to continue military operations despite the collateral damage, want the taliban to attack them in Afghanistan.
Regarding Afghanistan he is saying they fought Usa for 20 years and did not stop, do we want to make another enemy in Afghanistan or work towards bringing them on Pakistan side, through CPEC, cooperation with China. Despite what PDF members say, Pakistan is actually working towards this, the rest is just to pressurise Taliban to take on TTP. Another issue is Usa Saudia are not happy with Taliban, this is why they are not recognised but ISIS Jolani was accepted with open arms, one is a puppet and another one think of themselves as great Islamic power, taliban leader is called Amir ul Muhmineen, he is noone puppet.
This is why isis is funded and given training to fight Taliban, Taliban in return banned wahabism in Afghanistan, banned their literature, declared Hanafi fiqh as religious law with rights given to shia minority, and Saudia banned Talighi Jamaat, declared them as gate of terrorism.
What has Pakistan done to fight terrorism, extremism and their symphathisers, to fight their ideology, the literature etc. The Taliban has done more for their country than Pakistan in 20 years. Ofcourse taliban themselves are hardliners but ISIS is the daddy, true khwarij takfiri movement, funded by foreign agencies.
Now tell me who is correct. People on PDF must look at both sides and reach conclusion, rather than have a typical desi mentality.
