The start of sales of the new-generation Haval F7 crossover in Russia is scheduled for late summer 2024, the press service of Chinese brand reports. The car is based on a highly intelligent modular technological platform L.E.M.O.N.2, which has already proved itself. Reduced weight provides increased dynamic performance, fuel economy and high level of comfort.

The new Haval F7 will be presented in three configurations: Elite, Premium and Tech Plus. Two engine options will be available to buyers. One of them is turbocharged 1.5 liter with an output of 150 hp and torque of 230 Nm. It is installed on cars with front-wheel drive. The all-wheel drive variant is equipped with a 2 liter turbocharged engine with 192 hp and 320 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch robotized transmission.

Haval F7 crossover has also received a new exterior. So, the futuristic look of the model is achieved thanks to the smooth lines of the body, LED strip between the front headlights, retractable door handles, two-tone wheels and antenna in the shape of a fin. Russian Yandex services will be integrated into the car - such as Yandex.Navigator, which will help build a route, and Yandex.Music. In addition, Haval F7 is equipped with a voice assistant, it will help to open windows or sunroof, turn on air conditioning or music.

According to Sergey Yakovlev, General Director of Green Drive, the current fleet of electric cars (including plug-in hybrids) in the amount of more than 80 thousand vehicles on average in the country is provided with charging infrastructure. However, there is an obvious shortage of charging stations in major cities - Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi and others, which is due to the high growth rates of electric vehicle fleet in these cities. "There are now only 29 electric cars per electric charging station. The load is too far from full even in cities such as Moscow and St. Petersburg, where the charging network is particularly developed. The drop in sales of imported electric cars also reduces the rate of commissioning of new charging stations. At the same time, according to our users' requests, the shortage of charging stations is felt more not in cities, but on the highways between regions," says Sitronics Electro Commercial Director Nikolay Samokhin.

"Unfortunately, infrastructure development is uneven, and about half of regions are not yet sufficiently equipped with charging stations. HAVAL F7 WILL ENTER THE RUSSIAN MARKET BY THE END OF SUMMER 2024
Sales of the new generation Haval F7 crossovers will start in Russia by the end of summer. The crossover received a new design and options, but retained the same set of powertrains, the characteristics of which have changed, Kommersant reports.

Two versions of the novelty, with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive, will be offered to Russian customers. The front-wheel drive version is equipped with 1.5-liter turbocharged engine capacity of 150 HP and 230 Nm of torque. The all-wheel drive modification will be equipped with 2.0-liter 192-HP turbocharged unit (320 Nm of torque), whereas the first generation car developed capacity of 190 HP (340 Nm of torque). Both power plants are coupled with 7-speed robotized gear box.

The model equipment will include a multimedia system with a 14.6-inch screen and Yandex services, seats with ventilation and electric controls, a panoramic roof, adaptive cruise control, all-round cameras, etc.

Geely is preparing to start sales of Preface business sedan in Russia. The model will be available in two versions, Kommersant reports with reference to the Russian press service of the brand.

Jetour has presented a new X50 crossover at the Chinese Motor Show in Moscow. According to Mikhail Rotkin, Deputy General Director of the company, the start of novelty sales is scheduled for September 2024.

The car length is 4,397 mm, the wheelbase is 2,601 mm. The basic version of the model is equipped with 1.5-liter 113-HP unit with 138 Nm of torque, coupled with 5-speed manual gear box. In other, more advanced versions, the power plant is represented by 1.5-liter engine capacity of 147 HP and 210 Nm of torque, coupled with 7-speed dual-clutch robotized gear box.
