RariTEK enterprise plans to start commercial production of gas-fueled Moskvich cars in August and to produce more than 1 thousand such cars by the end of the year. Ramil Ishmaev, Commercial Director of RariTEK Engineering LLC, told TASS News Agency, noting that the holding's capacity allows for annual production of up to 4 thousand NGV-powered cars and can be increased in the future. According to him, the gas version of "Moskvich" will be approximately 120 - 130 thousand rubles more expensive than the conventional one.
Earlier Ministry of Industry and Trade of Republic of Tatarstan, RariTEK Holding Company and Moskvich automobile plant signed a memorandum of co-operation. The document envisages the development of project for production of Moskvich cars on NGV fuel at RariTEK's production facilities in Naberezhnye Chelny.
Thus, joint efforts of Moskvich plant, Gazprom Gazomotor Systems and RariTEK have developed gas-fueled versions of Moskvich 3 and Moskvich 6 cars. The installation of gas equipment and its adaptation on cars is carried out by RariTEK, a company participating in the production chain of Moskvich car plant. The installation process includes installation of underhood equipment and shut-off valves manufactured by Gazprom Gazomotor Systems and cylinder equipment by Real-Storm.
Moskvich 3 crossover and Moskvich 6 liftback in the NGV version are equipped with a 1.5-litre turbocharged 136 hp engine and a CVT automatic transmission. The cars are able to drive exclusively on natural gas up to 250 km on a single re-fueling. The consumption of natural gas is 7 cubic meters per 100 km on a mixed cycle. At the same time, the total driving range on petrol and natural gas reaches about 900 km. The CNG tank capacity is 67 liters.

THE FIRST PROTOTYPE OF AN AUTOMATED GEAR BOX WAS ASSEMBLED AT THE KAMAZ SUBSIDIARY
The first prototype of an automated gear box under the working name A1310 was assembled at the ZF KAMA KAMAZ subsidiary for the production of gear boxes.
1310TO manual gear box (formerly called 9S1310TO) became the basis for automation (robotization). All automation units, including software, are manufactured by a Russian company, which will create a high level of localization for vehicle manufacturers.
The gear box was assembled on the assembly line of the company. It is currently being finalized at the repair site, and comments on the design and technological process are being eliminated.
The new automatic gear box will be tested on KAMAZ-43118, -65115 dumper, -65116 and -65117 tractor units, as well as on K5 generation KAMAZ-63934 fire truck.

KAMAZ trucks will receive a new automatic gearbox​

KAMAZ's gearbox manufacturing subsidiary TF Kama has assembled the first prototype of automated gearbox under the working name A1310. The base for automation (robotization) of gearbox was the 1310TO manual gearbox (former name 9S1310TO), KAMAZ press service reports. Meanwhile, KAMAZ and Itelma, as part of strategic co-operation, have agreed to apply a new electronic architecture using sanctions-resistant components to KAMAZ cars and buses. Thus, it is planned to use Russian printed circuit boards, passive electronic components and connectors in the design of control units, and in subsequent releases, microchips and microcontrollers will be added to the list of domestic element base (ECB).
Today, the share of electronics accounts for about 2% of the cost of KAMAZ vehicle, but given the company's move towards full digitalization and the introduction of autonomous driving elements, this share will grow significantly in the future. The use of sanction-resistant ECBs should lead to a reduction in the cost of electronic architecture blocks, which will ensure the competitiveness of KAMAZ vehicles in the Russian and foreign markets.
