OMODA brand has unveiled its first fully electric model in Moscow - OMODA E5 electric crossover. The official launch of the novelty on the Russian market is expected in spring 2024, the press service of the carmaker reports. OMODA E5 electric car is characterized by low charge consumption, which is only 15.5 kWh per 100 km, providing a range of 430 km.
At the same time, OMODA E5 uses fast charging technology, which allows to top up the battery from 20 to 80% in just 30 minutes. In the Russian car market in 2023, 41 983 OMODA cars were sold, which is 33.9 times more in compare with the previous year (the brand entered the Russian market in October 2022). As a result, OMODA took the seventh place in sales among all car manufacturers in Russia, and the market share of the brand reached 4%.
This is reported by the experts of "AUTOSTAT" agency with reference to the data of JSC "PPK "* and taking into account its own segmentation. The undoubted bestseller OMODA in the Russian market at the end of 2023 became a crossover OMODA C5, which sold 35,841 vehicles against 1,239 vehicles a year before. In addition, in May last year the OMODA S5 sedan went on sale, and in September the "charged" version of the S5 GT started on the market, and by the end of the year they were sold in the amount of 6142 vehicles.
As previously reported "AUTOSTAT", in addition to the electric crossover OMODA E5, a new mid-size crossover OMODA C7 will reach our country this year.
Thing thing seems affordable and practical.
