Russia-Ukraine War - News, Discussions & Updates

The Kursk offensive has exhausted what could be Ukraine's most trained and motivated units. It is now stalled.

Now there's a call to commit more brigade from the rear to try stop the Russians from capturing Pokrovsk.

Looks like this is the chance for Russia to annihilate what remains of Ukraine's uncommitted reserve. Once the Ukrainian army no longer have the men to fight the war, Russia could just walk straight into the capital.

Ukraine will join NATO anyway and in any scenario Russia will have more leverage in the eventual negotiations if it has a stronger hand (i.e., controls more Ukrainian land).

Looks like good progress near the centre after a long period of inaction. with momentum and breaching certain defensive lines things can shift quickly. looks like we are witnessing that now in Donetsk. The position in another 6-12 months will be very different. Russia can fight another 5 years if needed.

NATO Legitimately said that Ukraine was too corrupt to join NATO. Tells you all you need to know about the competence of the people in charge there. No wonder why the situation on the front is like this.

Russia didn't take the bait near Kursk because the main objective is on the Eastern front. Ukraine wanted Russia to divert troops before the rasputitsa set but it doesn't work that good when the country has tons of paved roads and not just dirt and mud everywhere. Basically Ukraine just opened a new front that needs constant supplies and the presence of elite troops while the Eastern 41st and 43rd Brigade are resupplied with new recruits with very limited combat experience and effectiveness, that's the reason Russian troops are able to push through much quicker.

Do tell us about that GREAT USA production rate of 155mm with China freezing off antimony and other rare earths to Pentagon

And yeah, USA not having gun cotton as cotton produced in Xinjiang by Uigher slave labour.

Uncertain if USA got the $$$ to pay to other countries as well known USA is going bankrupt, if not already bankrupt and impotent,

If people going to accept the trillions USA is printing
