Tang dynasty battles with the caliphate

Well in a comedic way

the turks betrayed the chinese for the arabs
later arabs betray ottoman turks for westerners.

guess everything comes around in a circle at the end
Not the same is it?

Arabs didn't really betray. They just supported people that hate their culture and race.. So we kind of laugh at that.

And we Turks of Anatolia are not doing so badly from it. it means we don't need to have a big empire of many different ethnicities.

The Turkic ancestry on average is less than 10%.

source : Arab azz

Those who lack historical knowledge and just make things up, when they can't speak academically, resort to fabricating things and jump to DNA analysis

of course there are millions of Kurds , Arabs , Albanians , Georgians , Circassians , Bosniaks , etc in Turkiye

because Turkiye is the heir to the Ottoman Empire, and millions of Muslims fleeing Christian persecution from the Balkans and the Caucasus have come to Anatolia between 1821 and 1980s just like the millions of Arabs who have come from Syria to Turkiye in the last 15 years.

Yeah, nobody denies that Turks of Anatolia are mixed ...obviously. The region was the core of the Eastern Roman world for a thousand years, plus Balkan migrations, plus local Anatolian continuity. So yes, modern Turks carry Balkan, Greek, Anatolian, Caucasian, and Central Asian layers. That’s normal for a place with that history.

But Arabs? No .. that’s just not supported by genetics, history, or even basic phenotype. Turks didn’t mix with Arabs in any meaningful way. Even in the video you shared, do any of those people look Arab to you? Turks are generally Caucasian‑complexioned, and Arabs have a different tone and different regional ancestry. They’re not interchangeable, and pretending they are doesn’t make the argument stronger.

And this “10% Turkic blood” talking point is always used in a weird way. Because despite that number, all those “pure” Central Asian Turks still see Anatolian Turks as Turks. They wave the same flags, speak the same language family, share the same cultural identity, and recognize the same historical continuity. Identity isn’t a math equation.

Also, you’re getting very defensive while ignoring the actual point... most of these so‑called “Arab” dynasties weren’t ethnically Arab in practice. Their armies were overwhelmingly Berber, Circassian, Turkic, Persian, and other groups. The ruling elite depended on non‑Arab manpower for centuries. That’s not an insult .. it’s just how their states functioned.

So yes, Turks are mixed .. but mostly with Balkan, Greek, Anatolian, Caucasian populations. And no, Turks are not “Arab‑looking,” “Arab‑descended,” or part of some pan‑Arab identity. And yes, many historical Arab dynasties relied heavily on non‑Arab soldiers and administrators.

That’s the reality, not the oversimplified narrative you’re pushing.
Arabs are the third largest ethnic group in Turkiye.

The oldest towns and settlements in Anatolia were founded by Semitic peoples. Many of the names of Turkish cities are of Arab origin in South and East Anatolia.

The capital of Kurdish majority East Anatolia is Diyarbakir. Literally named after an ancient Arab tribe (Banu Bakr) that settled in the region and founded the modern city.

Turkiye's largest borders are with Arabs (Syria and Iraq).

There is no singular look because Turkish people are not an ethnic group but a conglomeration of various ethnic groups (Greeks, Armenians, Kurds, Arabs, Assyrians, Bosniaks, Albanians, Circassians, Gypsies (Roma people) and others).

The Turkic admixture is minimal and on average less than 10% among the Turkish speaking majority.

I joked about this a few years ago but in 100 years time, some of the Syrians that stayed in Turkiye, will be claimed as Turkic Central Asians by Turkish people, lol.

Yes, that is why most Turks have Arab/Semitic haplogroups J1, J2, E and G, lol.

1787287255256.png

Fact of the matter is that most of Anatolia for the past many millennia has been ruled by foreigners and that is is both absurd and pathetic to try and claim various Turkic dynasties outside of Turkiye when they have nothing to do with Turkiye and modern-day Turks (Anatolians).

Most of the world laughs at such behavior and with good reason.

Same as claiming some kind of kinship to the Battle of Talas as this thread is a good example of.

Any actual Turkic peoples (Kazakhs, Uzbeks, Kyrgyz etc.) would laugh at such behavior.

Reminds me of Afro-Arabs in Chad or NIger or Mali claiming purely Arabian/Arab heritage and being more Arabian/Arab than Saudi Arabians, lol.

End of story, really, so ending it here.

Yup pretty much we have to thanks Turkiye for supporting those huge Syrian migrating to Turkiye and help protecting Idlib in Syria that later topple Bashar

I think we dont need to say bad thing to Arabs, and Arabs should not talk bad things to Turk as well, both of them have done well in history

The Salar people from China were the original descendants of the Gokturks.

They didn't move westward and intermarry with the Middle Easterners and Europeans, and that's why they have retained their original Turkic appearance.

They mixed up with the Mongols as like Kazakhs

The real Turks weren't so slanted-eyed, and their homeland was the Siberian rainforest

Early Turkic ancestors thrived in a transition zone of nomadic grasslands and sub-Siberian woodlands

even American genetic scientists have proved that Europeans ( haplogroup R ) and Native Americans ( haplogroup Q ) have proto Turkic blood ( haplogroup PM-45 )

Haplogroup P-M45 ( proto Turkic Peoples )
Time of origin : 45.000 years ago
Place of origin : Central asia and Southeast Asia
Descendants Haplogroup Q and R

And the P-M45 descended from the K2b Tianyuan man from Northern China.

The entire Haplogroup K was originally an east eurasian marker, and some of its descendants became west eurasians due generational intermarriage with the western hunter-gatherers.

Yes, that is why most Turks have Arab/Semitic haplogroups J1, J2, E and G, lol.

The poorest and uneducated people in Turkiye are Kurds and Arabs, mainly from the southern and eastern Anatolian regions

R1a and R1b are Turks ( about 25% of Turkish Population ) even according to your source

Is that why the only STEM Noble Prize laureate from Turkiye is a Turkish Arab whose mother tongue is Arabic?

Origins

According to his own account, he spoke Arabic with his parents and Turkish with his siblings.[14][15] However, when asked about his origins, Sancar only underlined his Turkish nationality. Still, his cousin, Mithat Sancar, mentioned that their family is of Arab origins.[16]

Your First Lady (Erdogan's wife) is an Arab too.

Emine Erdoğan[1] was born as Cemal and Hayriye Gülbaran’s fifth child and only daughter in Üsküdar, Istanbul. Her family is originally from Siirt and is of Arab origin.[2][3]

Most of Turkiye and Turks were poor until not many decades ago - hence the many migrations to Europe and even GCC (recent migrants) for better economic life.

Today Turkiye is doing much better, which is good to see, and you see fewer Turkish economic migrants.

As I wrote to you, the region that Arabs have lived in Anatolia for millennia is home to the oldest cities in Anatolia and with the most history. Hardly signs of being "uneducated".

The K2b Tianyuan man belonged to one of the first major waves of Homo sapiens to emerge from Africa and reach Asia

However, the paternal line of modern Han Chinese is not K2b, but its very distant relative, Haplogroup O

The Turkic Peoples from the K2b then P-M45 , in finally R1a and R1b

Is that why the only STEM Noble Prize laureate from Turkiye is a Turkish Arab whose mother tongue is Arabic?

Aziz Sancar is ethnically of Turkish descent. He has categorically rejected claims and speculations in the press that he is of Arab origin and has proudly emphasized his Turkish identity

Prof Dr. Aziz Sancar has stated that his family has deep Oghuz Turkic roots

The modern Chinese came from K2a, the brother clade of Tianyuan K2b.

The original haplogroup K diverged in the middle east with the J and I.

You keep bringing up place names like Diyarbakır as if that somehow proves “Arab ancestry.” I don’t care if the city was called Saudi Arabia... there isn’t a single Arab monument, building, inscription, or architectural layer left there. Zero. The region’s material culture is Roman, Byzantine, and Turkic. Names alone don’t equal ancestry.

And the groups you’re calling “Arabs” in the Levant aren’t even ethnically Arabian. They’re mostly Arabized Assyrians, Arameans, Levantines, and other local peoples who adopted Arabic language and identity over time. They share almost nothing with actual Arabian Peninsula Arabs. So no... you cannot claim Turks look like Arabs or Kurds. The phenotypes, histories, and genetic profiles are different.

Now, about haplogroups... THE FUN PART!! Modern Turks show a blend of Balkan, Caucasian, Anatolian, and Central Asian haplogroups, not Arabian ones.

Actual genetic facts :

  • J1 — strongest in Arabian Peninsula populations; low in Turks
  • J2 — widespread across the Mediterranean, Balkans, Caucasus, Anatolia; not uniquely Arab
  • E1b1b — Balkan, Greek, Mediterranean; common in Turks due to Balkan/Greek ancestry
  • G — Caucasus; very common in Turks
  • R1a / R1b — Eurasian, Balkan, Central Asian; present in Turks
  • Q / C — Central Asian Turkic haplogroups; minor but real in Anatolia
This profile matches exactly what history says.. what a surprise. Turks are genetically closest to Balkans, Caucasians, and Central Asians, not Arabs.

Wrong, Arab/Semitic Levantines and Arab/Semitic Arabians are the same people genetically by large as every modern DNA test confirms.

LOL. There are 100's of Turkish cities of Arab origin, 100's of Arab Islamic monuments, mosques etc. after 400 years of Arab rule of South Anatolia and East Anatolia.

Millions of Turkish Arabs (third largest ethnic group in Turkiye) who speak Arabic dialects that derive from Arabian Arabic dialects (Najdi and Hejazi).

Which is why Arabian travelers can easily communicate with Turkish Arabs.

Your main haplogroups J1 and J2 are Arab/Semitic/West Asian (native) haplogroups. Same with E which is common among Arabs as well (mostly). G is also native to the Arab world.

So yes, almost no Turkic ancestry yet you are claiming Turkic dynasties and achievements left and right?

You remind me of Afro-Arabs in Mali, Niger, Chad etc. who claim full ownership of Arab history and act more Arab than actual Arabs.

Which explains why 2 non-Turkic Anatolian Turks are even participating and claiming Arab military victories (Battle of Talas) as their own, lol.

The modern Chinese came from K2a, the brother clade of Tianyuan K2b.

K2a lineage stayed firmly rooted in East Asia. It evolved into the mega-clade NO .From NO, Haplogroup O emerged which became the direct paternal anchor for modern Han Chinese

K2b migrated, split and mutated into Haplogroup P-M45 which eventually gave rise to R (Europe, South Asia, Central Asia) and Q (Native Americans )

Chinese and Turks are from K2a and K2b brothers

Dolma is absolutely part of Turkish cuisine. Turks have been known for stuffed dishes for centuries .. dolma, sarma, stuffed peppers, stuffed onions, stuffed mussels, you name it. The word dolma itself is Turkish (“to fill / to stuff”). It spread across the region through Ottoman influence, not the other way around.

Baklava is also Turkish in origin. The word is Turkish, and the modern version was developed and perfected in the imperial kitchens of Topkapı Palace. Earlier layered pastries existed in different cultures, but the baklava we all recognize today ...ultra‑thin phyllo, clarified butter, pistachios, syrup ... is an Ottoman creation.

Coffee wasn’t invented by Turks, but it was popularized globally by the Ottomans. The first coffeehouses in the world opened in Istanbul in the 1500s, and Ottoman trade networks spread coffee culture across Europe and the Mediterranean. “Turkish coffee” is still one of the oldest continuous coffee traditions on earth.

So no — these dishes aren’t “Arab Mesopotamian.” They’re part of a shared regional food heritage, but the names, techniques, and modern forms of dolma, baklava, and coffee culture are deeply tied to Turkish and Ottoman history.

Why try steal everything thats Turk?
