Tang dynasty battles with the caliphate

The early Homo sapiens had to the stay in the coastline of the southern Eurasia because the Neanderthals and Deninsovans dominated in the northern Eurasia.

Can't beat them when you technology was first inferior, only marched into their heartland when your technology has surpassed them.

Homo sapiens look like mixed with Neanderthals in Europe, as only African dont have Neanderthals DNA

Havent check yet, but Negrito also likely dont have Neanderthals DNA

But in my theory those Neanderthals and Deninsovan still part of homo sapiens, just different groups this why they intermarried in Europe as some African migrate in large quantity (maybe due to occational drough and wars)

Only Kyrgyzstan is poor

Kazakhstan is rich
Turkmenistan has the 4th largets gas reserves in the world and Uzbekhstan is growing

Turkic countries gained their independence after 1992
They need more times ( 25 years )

Dubai was so backward in 1980s

but today is different

You are repeating what I wrote, more or less.

Turkmenistan is rich in gas but it is another North Korea ruled by a crazy regime. People are extremely poor and you can barely enter the country as a tourist. Internet is blocked etc.

I have seen Russian tourists visiting North Korean resorts (holiday) but I have never seen/heard about any large tourism in Turkmenistan.

Dubai was a relatively small fishing village. Always was the case. Its monumental global rise (tourist, financial, aviation etc. hub) is the clever work and vision of the Dubai rulers. Dubai Emirate barely has any oil and gas as well. During the 1970's and 1980's there were 100's of richer, larger etc. cities in the GCC. In any case it is a remarkable rise.

Sub-Saharan Africans have no Neanderthal DNA but Europeans/West Asians/Arabs have. At the same time South East Asians have less Neanderthal DNA but more Denisovan DNA.

Are Han Chinese mainly Neanderthal or Denisovan admixed or a combination of both? Google tells me that both admixtures have occurred but I guess that it depends on the region of China given the country's large size.

BTW, what would you say is the most influential regional Chinese cuisine? What region has influenced Chinese cuisine the most if you should pick one? Other Chinese friends are welcome to give their opinions as well.

This thread has changed topic anyway and is mostly about Arabs/China/Central Asia (the location of this battle), some trolling and some interesting/informative posts. Basically a microcosmos of the internet itself.

Homo sapiens shared a common Homo heildelbergensis ancestry with the Neanderthals and Deninsovans.

Only the Neanderthals and Deninsovans happened to share a more recent common ancestry to each other than with Homo sapiens.

South East Asian and East Asian have even had more Neanderthal DNA than modern Europeans

More likely that the Han Chinese and its closely related ethnic groups in China retain both admixture from Neanderthals and Deninsovans evenly, but the Tibetans seem to lean more toward Deninsovans in general.

Even most modern Europeans also retain both archaic hominid admixture, but only the Neanderthal position far outweigh the Deninsovan one.

Most Arabs and other Middle Easterners also contain the Neanderthal admixture as this hominin species also used to live in the Middle East.

The first wave of Homo sapiens who have failed to migrate to Eurasia from at least 200,000 years ago was obstructed by the Neanderthals.

In fact, Morocco right now has the oldest fossil of Homo sapiens, and Homo sapiens did try several times to migrate out of Africa, but it always got blocked in the Sinai peninsula or the exposed bridge of Gibraltar thanked to the Neanderthals.

You are correct.

Map showing the areas of Eurasia and date ranges in which Homo neanderthalensis (an archaic human group) and Homo sapiens (the only extant human group) are estimated to have produced hybrids with each other. Data is based on analyses of human fossil samples at the indicated sites.[1]

It seems that West Asians and Europeans also have Denisovan DNA but smaller amounts.

Very interesting.

Here is the prehistoric relative of the Southeast Asians and East Asians who lived in East Europe.

He carried a significant amount of the Neanderthal admixture, and also looked very East Eurasian ('Mongoloid') in appearance.

I am wondering if this phenotype was created via the Neanderthal admixture.

Turkmens are not poor
only about 2% of the population lives in "extreme poverty"

GDP PPP per capita
Turkmenistan : $24,349
China : $31,596

Not bad for a 35-year-old State
better than Brazil , Iran , India , Egypt , Indonesia

------------------------------------------------------------------------

The real turning point for the Turkmenistani economy was the opening of the Central Asia-China natural gas pipeline in 2009. Since then, China has become Turkmenistan's largest gas buyer

In addition, Turkmen gas, transported via Iran, officially began to be supplied to Türkiye as of 2025

Turkmenistan has started generating real gas revenue in the last 10-15 years, and the country will become more prosperous as a result in the future

Great Hun Empire ( Xiongnu ) = TURKS

209 B.C., the date of the accession to the throne of the Great Hun Emperor METE KHAN , is the year taken as basis of the foundation of Turkish Land Forces.

In first the regular Turkish Land Army founded by Mete Han in 209 B.C

the largest unit in terms of number, consisting of 10,000 horsemen, was called "Division", divisions were divided into thousands, thousands into hundreds, hundreds into tens, each of them was assigned a commander with the ranks of Division Chief, Major, Captain and Corporal, and from bottom to top they are subordinated to each other in the correct chain of command

in 209 BC , We Turks created the modern Army in history , the core system of hierarchical division used by almost every modern military today

Yes a lot of these people later on became the Hui ethnic group but the most famous one is Zhenghe who let the greatest armada ever assembled at that time

Yes a legendary commander and great icon of China.
When you say they are an ethnic group their genetics, language and culture is near identical to the Han. Is it because of faith and very distant ancestry they get that classification?
