China can copy American technology, steal all patents, build better infrastructure, China can surpass Americans economically, but they will never, never be able to copy the above clip. In other words, the strength of the US lies in its people and not in all other things.

@Beijingwalker Show me a similar clip from China? Impossible. China has neither the culture nor the music and people with similar energy. The US is not perfect, far from it, but people are irreplaceable. Look at the above clip, despite having quite a few everyday problems, peeps still find time to enjoy and connect. China can never copy this, no matter how hard they try. You can't copy this. Period.

@Hamartia Antidote @F-22Raptor Have you two watched this movie? I saw it yesterday with the homies on new year's day and gotta say it kept me hooked the whole time. Solid storyline, great cast (Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke), and a theme that really gets you thinking.

After this movie the military budget must significantly increase lol. It's better to stop regimes on their own turf than to bring it all to the US, fck that! Better to be prepared than end up in a situation from the movie. If you haven't checked it out, definitely worth a watch.

To pay for the extended routes to the suburbs the fee is much higher than the subway. In fact it can be close to 5 times the cost. This makes living in the suburbs even more difficult for lower income people. Again showing how just dropping lower income people into some far away suburb is not always in their best interests.
