Its just an old trope, China is now capable of building their own things from scratch, and not dependent on making copies, people haven't grasped that element yet. There are opportunities for defense cooperation in line with Saudi Vision 2030

We can give TOT to S.Arabia for the KAAN Fighter Jet as like 60 AKINCI UCAVs with some TOT for $3.1 billion Dollars

Also Turkiye gives TOT to S.Arabia for T-625 Helicopter


Arabs have serious interest in KAAN
S.Arabia can be the pioneer country and then other Arab countries could join this project

Damm look like they are sticking with the BAE Hawks they have like 80-100 Hawks.

I was thinking of potential sources that would be inclined to fund a joint engine development for Hurjet, in exchange for transfer of tech/local production, Only option left is UAE.

Didn't they visit to see KAAN? the rumors are that they give commitments to purchase, I ready that TAI plans to build around 300 planes and a good chunk of those are apparently foreign orders.

Nice looking plane - was hoping to see it in PAF service one day - but it does look like PAF is walking away from that.

I am looking forward to seeing it in a UK airshow sometime soon ! ( Alongside Kan of course! )
