Many months ago, I wrote an article discussing how the U.S. could use its control over the GPS system to disable or dismantle the weapons it has sold to its allies or other countries. The idea was that, since many modern weapons rely on GPS technology, the U.S. could potentially cut off GPS access or alter it to neutralize these systems at any time, if needed. Unfortunately, the article has since been deleted by the website’s admin, and I am unable to find it anymore. Now, as events unfold, it seems this concept is becoming more of a reality.

Very possible for EVs, you can receive an OTA update while driving that can accelerate, disable breaks, steer the car into a ditch. Even normal gasoline cars can be manipulated. Most cars come with ADAS, line keep assists, not to mention cruise controls.

Chinese goods are safe.

If Chinese cell phones were left with backdoors and remote-controlled bombs like American goods, the U.S. government wouldn't have gone ahead and sanctioned Huawei in the first place, citing Iran as the reason.

Your questioning of the safety of Chinese goods is the same as your questioning of the U.S. government's inspection of Chinese goods and the U.S. government's technological capabilities.

Why should I trust Chinese government by that logic. Most Chinese companies are required to be registered with the party and have members embedded in it right? This is worse than the US.
