For your information, there is no legal bar to representing your caste to be something that it is not, except where people seek false certification in order to get educational or employment preferences.

If he is, and he is a Dalit, or a tribal, he has every right to be angry. You can see how the Savarna are reacting to him.
Muslim Indian? Cannot be ruled out.
