Turkey's first military turbofan engine, the TF6000, was successfully fired for the first time.

Another milestone reached. Alhamdulillah

next step is the afterburner, which will probably come later down the road after this engine is fully developed, then all the pieces are in place.

Time flies by so fast, it felt like only yesterday when I was watching the TS-1400 being tested for the first time.

There are 30 subsystems in TEI-TF6000.
These technologies were developed by western Countries. We develop them locally

TEI TS-1400 Turboshaft Engine
-- Core engine first ignition: June 2018
-- TS1400 first firing: January 2019
-- Delivery for integration to GOKBEY Helicopter : December 2020
-- First flight with GOKBEY : April 2023
-- Mass production first delivery: December 2024 or the first quarter of 2025

If it proceeds with a similar program as TS-1400 Engine , then TF-6000 can make its first flight with ANKA-3 in 2028

but with the experience gained with the TS1400 engine, it will be done earlier

I think in a year or little more we will see tf10000, basicly a 6000 with afterburner..
afterburning element is much simpler than the core. I'm pretty sure it'll be ready for production around the same time as TF-6000

I'm much more interested in a high-bypass turbofan. Even Iran can make a cargo plane, so shall we.

I am sure it goes paralel with tf6, how long ago was tf6 introduced? Two years ago, i am sure in 1 year or litte bit later we will see tf10 and first parts of tf35. Everything goes in secrecy, i think tf6 was started together with TS1400 other way impossible to put a engine in 2 years :p.

You know I'm wondering why did they go with the Single engine GE404 class trainer rather than a M-346 class dual engine Honeywell F124 class trainer. b/c if it was a M-346 class trainer then the Honeywell F124 equivalent like the TF6000 or TF10000 in afterburner variant could be used. Is there also a secret project for the Hurjet engine?

I think after the TF35k emerges, it can be used not only in KAAN but also in Hürjet, Anka 3-4 and Kizilelma variants.

A Hürjet with the TF35k will be an F16 level.
